Hotel Astor - Hotel in Durgapur - Paschim Bardhaman, India

Restaurant service is very poor. Mainly restaurants staff..they are not co-operate with guests and misbehaving with guests.. Personal I am not completing the BF today and only got one glass water on complementary BF Me and our company guest will not stay in this hotel in future because of staff behaviour specially Mr.Bhumor.

Room is good but size is too small there is no space to walk in the room. amenities were not updated in the standard category of the room. They don't have fridge, kettle and study table in the room which is a very basic amenities of any hotel. housekeeping staffs are very nice and the guy in the front desk is also very helpful and gentle. Room service is very fast and food is good.

The maintainance of the rooms is very poor. Check in facilty was good. But I faced a lot of trouble in my stays. Such as: 1. Deluxe room size is very small, not at all satisfactory as per the room rate of amount. Size of bed is very small not even fit for 2 persons with a baby. Not enough space and no window was there. 2. I booked 2 rooms, but AC of the both rooms were not working, even we stayed for a half day without AC. After complaining they shifted the room twice for two rooms. 3. Bathing shower was not working at top floor. 4. As per the room rent totally unsatisfactory experience I gathered.

One of the Best hotel near the junction Mall, Rooms and Bathroom are very clean and well furnished. Staff behaviour is also good. Food taste was Great.

we stayed in a deluxe room which is superb the size of the room was very large. All the amenities was there in the room except fridge. Both bathroom and room was neat and clean. we had a very good stay there. Front office staff especially Nargis and male staff were very attentive and helpful. We will definitely visit this hotel again for sure. we highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel . Have no doubt with service, hospitality, and management. Food quality is good... need to improve teast .

So two days ago we (6 person) went to astor for lunch, 2 of our friends were pure vegetarians. So we parked our car outside Astor and 2 of our friends went inside to ask the staffs if they serve some pure veg dishes other than the usual daal and potato. Meanwhile 4 of our friends are still waiting in the car till confirmation. So the staff asked the chief and confirmed us that they can do one paneer dish without onion/garlic. We called our friends. All of us settle down. The AC was not running, it was hot inside, the staff said they just turned it on, it will be cold soon. Then we started ordering dishes, rice/bread/chicken for 4 of us and the paneer dish that they confirmed. Then the staffs told us they cannot serve the pure veg paneer, they cannot cook it. We went into argument that how we already confirmed with you guys before calling our friends and now you are denying. I think the staffs are extremely incompetent to understand anything at all. All of us just paid 20rs for the bottle of water. Cancelled all our order then went away. Bad experience!

I visited this restaurant on 24/8/ 23 and ordered chilli garlic chowmin and garlic chicken. After serving of the food myself and my friend both found that the chicken smelled foul, the chicken smelled of chemicals, when requested the staffs refused to change the chicken and accept the fact that they have given us foul chicken.
