Hotel Ashoka - Fast food restaurant in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

I went to this hotel after reading an article on the best places to get Mysore masala dosa, and was totally disappointed. Maybe this hotel was good a long time ago, but now it's in a state of neglect. They provide a disposable bottle with three holes in the cap, filled with soap water, for washing hands. The dosa cost me more than the entire cost of traveling to Mysore. The dosa was partly uncooked. The uddin vada was also of poor quality. After eating, I had itching on my tongue within 5 minutes, and stomach pain within 15 minutes. I felt cheated, to have paid so much for such pathetic food.

Nothing is good apart from service. Not worthy at all. I don't recommend. People only visit this hotel as it looks affordable but it's really not for the food being provided. Poor hygiene and poor maintenance.

Waste of money Don't go there. Better u can strave. Ther was no proper plate, cups. Mainly no maintenance no hygiene. This is the worst shop . I never recommend this to any one. Even a begger for free food. That much irritating service, unhygienic food,...........

Budget friendly hotel. Ambiance looks like 90's style. Delicious food and good customer service.

Great service , Tasty food , reasonable rate. Has maintained the old interiors well. No washroom. (Hand wash area provided).

I went to Mysore to witnesses the famous Dashera and the parade. Since I didn't book any hotel online, I decided to go around the city exploring where I can find a place. Where all the rooms were around Rs3k per night, this hotel was just Rs500. The hotel's old, the furnitures are not very well maintained. And the hallways are somewhat spooky. I'd say, if you're low on budget, you can stay there, the location of the hotel is good but the maintenance is not. The people are really good thought. They'll help you with almost everything that is there in their power. I wish I had more pictures to share cause the ambiance gives you a 18th century vibe. There's a veg restaurant in the ground floor. The quality is good, the taste is good too. Hygiene is maintained properly.

Good taste and clean place. U can enjoy a best meals here...nice servers and there's a lodge also...

Dirtiest lodging...stay there if you are short on money and options. ..or else the street is good if you willing
