HOTEL ASHOKA - Hotel in Hanamkonda - Warangal Urban, India

We recently stayed at Hotel Ashoka in Warangal for two nights. We booked an Executive Deluxe room, which was clean and well-maintained. The washroom was also in good condition. What surprised me was the presence of a ceiling fan in the bathroom, which was a first for me! The room was reasonably spacious, featuring a Queen-size bed. We were fortunate to find parking on the first day and had no trouble parking there after our sightseeing trips. The parking lot can accommodate up to 10 cars, but it gets quite busy, especially on weekends, as Warangal has limited dining options, and Hotel Ashoka is a popular choice. Breakfast was served in a small hall on the first floor. They provided a token along with the morning newspaper for this service. The reception staff were accommodating and didn't give us any trouble when we requested a two-hour late check-out. Hotel Ashoka has three restaurants on the premises. One is for pure vegetarians, the second is for non-vegetarians, and the third serves as a restaurant and bar. We tried both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants. The vegetarian restaurant was satisfactory, but the non-vegetarian one was a disappointment and not worth the money. They have in-room dining facility and it was very quick when we ordered a coffee. Fridge in the room had cool drinks and water bottle for a price. Since we brought our own water bottles, did not consume the beverages offered there. Overall, we would rate Hotel Ashoka as a good place to stay for a couple of days and for vegetarian dining.

A bit confused about the location from outside, but the rooms are clean, separate restaurant for vegetarian food and very polite staff. Highly recommend if going with a family

8 of us Dropped in for a quick lunch to the veg restaurant Kanishka... totally dingy, cleaning is just a swipe with the same dirty cloth, most disinterested cashier at the entrance ... but the two bright spots were a very tasty simple thali and an extremely sincere n affectionate waiter Peddanna who had us leaving with a smile on our faces. The non veg restaurant had very overpowering food smells. They need some good ventilation n exhaust!!

Nice dinning area. People looking for halal options can try their meals it's fully vegetarian food and you get full meals @180.with unlimited rice and puris.enjoyed the food and hospitality.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Hotel Ashok and I must say that overall, it was a pleasant experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The meals I had were truly delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the variety and quality of the dishes. The curd rice, in particular, stood out as a delicious and satisfying option. However, it is worth noting that the service at Hotel Ashok was a bit slow. While the food was exceptional, the waitstaff seemed to be understaffed or overwhelmed at times, resulting in delays in service. This aspect could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience. Despite the slow service, I still highly recommend visiting Hotel Ashok for its outstanding food. The flavors and quality of the meals are certainly worth experiencing. Just keep in mind that there might be occasional delays in service due to the mentioned issue.

It's OK for staying as bachelor. Not recommended to stay with family. Because some drunken guys seen creating ruckus. Even receptionist guy explain all kind of room, but finally he rooms available only suit room.

Below average quality of food. Service quality is the worst starting from the receptionist, cleaning staff to the waiter to the manager all are ill behaved. I doubt whether they want business or not. The time they see you, they are in denial mood to serve the food you want. They have a few dishes in their mind. You have to eat what they wish, not as per your choice. Particularly speaking, we had opted for the special thali. But they did not serve any of the dishes mentioned in the menu. We have visited almost every part of Telengana and with the experience we can say that this hotel and the staff are the worst. As human beings, we can make mistakes. But the staff of this hotel never accept their mistakes even though the customer is giving a feedback. God save the hotel and it's owner.
