Hotel Ariel - Hotel in Kohima - Kohima, India

No as per the expectations. Service is good. Food is local type not a restaurant type. Location is not good enough due to connectivity but view is awesome. Need progress on room amenities and facilities. May arrange Airport pickup drop option. Food quality needs to upgrade. Service is good, behaviour is too .

A nice clean hotel which i would rate value for money. Good spacious rooms, clean and with ample storage facilities. Includes sofa, tea tables. Toiletatories, complimentary water, tea, coffee bags, hot water kettle all included. Ask for the mountain view rooms, thise have awesome views. All the staff are extremely polite and take immediate action on requests - excellent service. There is an Axis bank and ATM just one floor down. Restaurant is included, food tast can be improved, but prices are not too costly. One big downside though - no lift. All else good!!

This hotel provides great service. Food is super delicious. To those who wanna try Naga food, the bambooshoot with meat, the hotel restaurant suits you. Location is great. Its on the main road of Kohima. Taxi is all around. I am from Thailand. I stay at the Hotel Ariel twice in March and May of 2023.

Only the average hotel....tariffs are quite high compared to its room ambience.... staff are very polite.. adjacent to the reliance trend.

Rooms are very spacious and clean, the food needs a lot of improvement. They are very generous with chillies on every item... It's burns you out! And the colouring is... Ugh, not cool! Needs a lot lot lot of improvement.

Cons In case of power failure, Power backup does not start until You call for it to turn it on. Had to call them couple of times in afternoon and then in night almost closer to 9 pm, they asked to wait for sometime for electricity to be back which i did but then had to push them to power ON the generator by going down to the reception where i was told neighbors will complain coz of generator but hey aren't I'm paying 2k per night for a comfortable stay? So what about my complain n my money? Coz my last day experience I'm rating them as 3 stars otherwise i was thinking to give 5 stars coz of my last 6 days stay. No wall clock You have to return to hotel by 9:30-10 pm otherwise they start calling you to be back. Common its a hotel and I'm paying for my stay and i can come back anytime i want so i shouldn't be told to be back before that time.. Its not a hostel. Ask for your complimentary water bottle though they give 250 ml bottle as they dont refill themselves unless u ask for it If u r extending then confirm the day charge for the roon as i did over the phone but later they denied during the checkout. Pro Staff is friendly Rooms are clean but a bit stuffy as they only got 1 wall mounted fan above the bed. Food is good

Had a great experience, room spacious, food was good,very helpful staff was doubting about the parking since it's near the road but all good sundor ase de ekjon

The Rooms are spacious, well furnished and neatly maintained. Even the bathroom was almost the size of a small room by itself. Very impressive. The staff were polite and courteous. The Hotel is located right next to the main road so the traffic might be an issue for rooms on that side. Room tariffs are on the medium range. Overall the amenities provided by the Hotel made the stay enjoyable.
