NO FOOD, BAD SERVICE We actually went to the restaurant with our family.We reached there by a time of 2:30 First they told us the restaurant was full and told us to wait. We waited for some time and they told us there was seat. We got in with our family The person for taking the order came and asked us what we want..We asked for biriyani..but he told it got finished..so we ordered fried rice... We waited for 45 min and still the food wasn't ready. Can anyone accept this?? Asking them why it wasn't ready they were not ready to give a reply..ATLEAST HAVE MANNERS IN TELLING IF IT HAS ANY DELAY Shame on you despite a big restaurant. We left the restaurant without having any hope in getting food. And when we complained they behaved in a bad manner and even the supervisor was hesitating to say sorry.. JUST THINK AGED PEOPLE WAITING FOR 45 MIN AND NO FOOD........ VERY BAD SERVICE..... PLEASE DON'T REPEAT THIS

Stopped over for a short period , spent most of the time in the Skybar on the terrace to meet-up with friends . Meeting up & chatting up in the open area was also a difficult option because of music systems right above your head . The closed space of the skybar is also very limited , a bit cramped for space ... however , have to admit that chicken kadai and other dishes were dainty . Overall a 3.5 for Kottayam hotel jaunt after a long time

It's a renowned Kottayam hotel. I went to their dejavu restaurant recently for a family meal. Completely let down. To begin with, that particular day their tandoor and grill section was closed. We also placed an order for kadai chicken, porotta, shahi paneer, and chapathi. The chapathi was good, but the porotta tasted like it had been heated from frozen! The two curries are not up to par. The paneer was really bland, and the chicken was tough and remained apart from the gravy. I would want to ask them to take the appropriate actions to guarantee that their restaurants uphold the standards expected of a four star establishment.

We went for a buffet breakfast. For Rs 660/- per pax we experienced the worst breakfast ever. Only very few choices with normal quality too. We took a newspaper from the stand after food and while we were about to move the car towards the gate, we saw a security running after our car, he smashed on the window saying, did you took newspaper from the stand... Manager saw through CCTV and send me to get it from you. After paying Rs 2000 for a horrible breakfast we received a complimentary insult and gave Rs 20 for the security to get refreshed.

Aside from some bad reviews regarding the service, I found out the service was good actually and proper. Cons: 1. they serve the same breakfast items everyday . 2. Wi-Fi is terrible, they keep changing the password everyday and was not stable. They took quick respond to my complaint, and gave me a mobile modem which was really appreciated. Staff are polite and will try to accommodate your needs when you tell them.

My stay at Arcadia was simply good. When I reached the property location, I did not have much expectations, the checkin process was normal and uneventful. However, the rooms were very clean, well maintained and had all the necessary amenities. Room service was good. However the food tasted a bit salty. Breakfast was till 10:30 and I was a late and the restaurant closed. To my surprise, the restaurant manager went above and beyond her duty to make some calls and personally delivered the food to my room. Having stayed at a lot of hotels, I never had such an experience and this really took me by surprise. I usually do not give 5 star reviews but this one is special. The hotel is located close to the KSRTC bus stand and has an auto-taxi stand nearby. Railway station is just 10 mins away. Overall this is a good place for family or business stay.

Pathetic service; average food; good ambience. This is how one can define the Arcadia Rooftop restaurant now. We have been visiting the place occasionally for family reunions, gatherings or just an eat out. And its quite disheartening to see the way the quality of service provided has eroded over the time. Unless the service by staff is going to improve, I wonder how the restaurant or the hotel itself for that matter, is going to survive in the long run. Said that, the ambience is amazing, food is average to decent and the hygiene is quite impressive.

The stay at Hotel Arcadia was nice and good. Staff are good and service also very helpful. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. Bachelors as well as family can definitely Prefer this hotel when you are at Kotttayam.
