A late post with apology. I needed a place for a night in Vishakhapatnam on my way to an appointment at Coffee Board office in Paderu. This was one of the places that showed up and I found the of the hotel amusing. Since it was very close to the bus stop, I just booked it without thinking further. It's a budget hotel with the basic amenities, but the service was great. I had booked an #Uber taxi for the ride early next morning. The taxi didn't come. The owner kindly took over the phone and conversed in Telugu conveying to the chauffeur tha it was urgent. The Uber driver said he was coming, but still there was no sign of him. The owner went out of his way to promptly arrange a taxi. However, since the chauffeur didn't speak a single word of English, he even allowed a relative to travel with me all the way to Paderu. Overwhelmed, I offered some compensation to the gentleman accompaying me. But he humbly refused to accept any. Gestures of such kindness and thoughtfulness - rare in the times we live in - help me to understand how and why India is still functioning. I wish the hotel, its management and the staff all the best.
The room was awesome, absolutely neat and clean. The staff was also very cooperative. If you are traveling in a sedan, then there is no hotel parking but the hotel staff helps you with the public parking. The best you can get In an affordable price.
