HOTEL APEX - Restaurant in Gudalur - The Nilgiris, India

Just an average restaurant. If no other spots available then only you can choose this. Inside is not good in condition, food quality is not bad. Cleanliness is not good. South indian dishes are available at affordable price.

It was out of sheer desperation tat i visited this place... And i was suitably rewarded for it... My photo and video is self explanatory... The food was an absolute disaster! The Tea was an epic disaster! You may visit and eat here only if it's life or death situation... I finally had to manage with 2 ice cream cones and head my way...

We were taken to this hotel by the mini bus driver which we had booked for Pykara package from Ooty. The hotel doesn't have diverse options even though the menu says different. We opted for non-veg thali and North Indian thali, both were served cold. Although the thali have many items, barely one will be able to consume anything. We almost left things unattended. It's better to go for other hotel beside this. Think so the bus driver have any agreement with the hotel owner due to which he stops infront of this hotel. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a restaurant that left me thoroughly disappointed. I must say, the food was nothing short of pathetic. The taste was bland, and the dishes lacked any creativity or attention to detail. To make matters worse, the overall hygiene of the restaurant was extremely concerning. The tables were sticky and unclean, and the floors looked like they hadn't been properly swept or mopped in ages. The lack of cleanliness extended to the restrooms as well, with unpleasant odors and dirty fixtures. It was a distressing sight that made me question the restaurant's commitment to basic sanitation.

Good place before Ooty, many options available for Veg n Non Veg

I had the chance to have my lunch at this hotel during my Madumalai Tiger reserve trip. This is very good place but service could have been much better hence 1 star deducted. Rest all, very food option to try multi cuisine foods.

Beware: they have sprite, 7 up glass bottles but it's actually filled with some local jeera soda. Soda is very less. Cost Rs 20. You can see the duplicate crown/cap of these bottles.

It's ok. Not really great. We just stopped by for food. The food was cold and average.
