Here, Single Bed room costs 2000. Bathrooms are smelly and not maintained. I walked away without taking the room and booked a room in Velley Guest House. 1.5k two beds, one single one double bed, clean bathroom, although a smaller area than this room, has all amneties.
The main problem are the rooms, the beds are itchy , the sheets aren't clean , very conjusted , the toilet flush doesn't work well, the TV is given yet doesn't even work , electricity problems....I would recommend to book another hotel... pretty much to not ruin your vacation
The rooms are very small and stinky. The bathroom is also very dirty. They gave us dirty bedsheet and pillow. No soap no towel. No hygiene is being maintained. Room smells horrible. Also no drinking water in the room. They have TV in every room but it doesn't even work. Very bad experience. Worst place to stay. I wouldn't recommend anyone to check in to this hotel.

The worst of any hotel.or stay I've ever experienced. Such filthy and nasty place, I would never recommend to stay here to anybody in any circumstance. I would give it zero star or minus star if its was possible. It doesn't even deserve one star.
If you are looking for a cheap rated hotel for one night stand.... So this is for you cause...lowest price range with facilities and most importantly this hotel near the main point of shillong... Its called Police bazar... But i am not saying that its perfect hotel ...but in budget its good enough...and staying with friends & Solo it is ok...but i According to me .... if you are coming with Family its not comfortable for you ...so Check it before Check in...
I stayed here for a couple of days with family. This is one of the worst places to stay in Shillong. The rooms are very small and dingy without any ventilation. The washroom is very dirty . No hiegene is being maintened. The rates are very high if you compare it to similar hotels. They are just taking undue advantage of the customers. One should avoid this hotel completely.
On last December,2017 I have spent some days in this hotel, I spend Rs1100 per night for double bed. Guesser is there in this hotel but they will not switched it on. So you will have to bath in cold water. This place is near Police Bazar.

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

I must say the hospitality the owner of the hotel name David gave was just out of the blue and his team of dynamic staffs were so helpful in every way possible when I needed their services. The hotel has a very friendly budget per room for all guests
You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.
