Hotel Annapoorna - Vegetarian restaurant in Karaikudi - Sivaganga, India

The atmosphere is not that great . We were very hungry around 3 pm and was hunting for food to have our lunch. Finally saw this veg hotel which was on the main road. Had a veg meal for 100 / person. We found the food was okay. Finding parking was very difficult but they have a small parking lot in the nearest street. It's near the old bus stand. We get ice cream, Bakery and sweet items too

This was the only garden restaurant in Karaikudi in the 1990s. It is a very old and vintage restaurant in Karaikudi that is well-known for its vegetarian fare. A decade later, I tried it again and found the quality to be the same. However, unlike the 1990s, when it was busy and crowded, it is now completely free, with the exception of a few vacant tables.

Came to know that this restaurant is functioning for few decades. This is a vegetarian restaurant and the taste of the food, tiffin items and snacks items are very nice. We went for lunch today. No meals. Only tiffin items and veraity rice are available. But the taste is very nice. At the back side of the restaurant an open place garden and seating are available. We purchased some snacks items also and the taste of the items are good. The response of the staff members are okay. The price also affordable.

Responsive service.. Tomato rice is must try for lunch.. Parcel packing is fast n good.. Improve veg biriyani taste..

Without giving one star I can't write the review that is why one star else zero star .. We were on our way to rameshwarm frm thanjavur and had our dinner from this shop seeing the review.. We order chettinad mushroom and naan and mushroom fried rice... The very nxt day we were hit by food poison ... Our travel plan was affected.. Don't ever go there.. And no parking also

Horrible place to eat, kitchen smoke comes in dinning area When I went for lunch it was almost 3 PM, Waiter told only parotta items available. Service also very poor They want to sell whichever not selling in their kitchen. No AC No parking available

On our way to Rameshwaram we stopped at this place at 6.45 am. No other en route restaurants in the town were open and the highway doesn't have any options, so we were glad when we found a vegetarian place! The food was decently priced and tasty. They also have toilets for travellers' use.

This is one of the few best vegetarian restaurants in Karaikudi. If you want to taste a good vegetarian food then you must come here. There is a nice spacious place to eat. Mostly crowd is moderate and The service is also okay. Usually come here for breakfast
