HOTEL ANAND - Hotel in Kottayam - Kottayam, India

For the first time me and my family experienced very bad breakfast from hotel Anand.We ordered masala dosa.But none of us could not eat it fully.Dosa was not properly cooked.Chutney & masala filling were tasteless, without salt & chilly in right proportion.Still hungry, & in search to find some other restaurant..

This review is only for the masala dosa and the ghee roast. Omfg! That dosa batter is just amazing, this isn't that Dosa that comes out and turns into like a pappadum and you need to snap it off. This is pure bliss, the masala potato mix is splendid and the coconut chutney and sambar is out of this world. No one goes in here to try anything else but this. Been around for years and the waiters will treat you extremely nice if you tip them nicely and they do remember. P.S. I have no clue about their rooms or any of the other dishes!

One of the very few pure vegetarian hotels in Kottayam. Review is only for the Hotel's restaurant, not for lodging. They are known for their Ghee roast dose, Veg Biryani and Chili Parota. They have two dining areas, one A/c and another Non A/c. Good Taste and service. I personally liked their Masala Ghee roast, which comes with coconut and tomato chutney along with sambar. Ghee Rice was excellent with pachdi.

You'll see arrogance everywhere; at lodge or the hotel, even at parking The food tastes good, but the people work there behaves like they don't want you eat from there.. examples: Waiters:- some are loud, some act like they don't care, some make you feel they're going through a lot Parking: too congested yet very small area, the securities are old I agree and with all due respect, but they are snooty

I ordered paneer biriyani through Zomato, and I was delighted by its delectable taste. The spice level was perfect, providing just the right amount of heat. Moreover, the rice was cooked to perfection, resulting in a satisfying texture. Considering the price point, it was definitely a good choice.

Good food. Parking is so difficult. Normal service. Easy to access.

One of the best and oldest vegetarian restaurants in Kottayam. Lot of Nostalgia and Memories here. Food is delicious.

Perfect place for breakfast in Kottayam town. And the recommended dish is Masala Dosa.
