Hotel Amantran hootteel aamNtrnn - Restaurant in Kumbar Gadde - Uttara Kannada, India

I visited this restaurant in June 2023. Ambience, food taste was at its great level. I got quick service for my breakfast though there were lots of customers. Quality of Idali and sambar was very much authentic and it's one of the best restaurant in this area. Hoping to visit again.

Visited the place for lunch as we were in a hurry and did not expect much. But we were surprised with delicious food. Chicken kabab and veg kolhapuri were a our favorite. Ordered parotta, chicken chilli and chicken biriyani as well, all were delicious. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. Our waiter was very humble and sweet. Overall a very good experience!

I love South Indian food that's why I stopped here during Gokarna visit. But the taste was ok ok for me not as per my expectations. It's a big property having some individuals cottages for family or private dinner with loved ones. Toilets are available but it should be more clean and hygienic. Rates are very reasonable, staff is very good.

The review is not regarding the Hotel Amantran (veg). This is abt the hotel inside which serves non veg food. I dnt remember the name though. The service is so bad tht v had to wait for almost for an hour for fish thali, prawn thali and curd rice. There ws only one person to serve n there ws no communication between the one who is taking the order and the one who is serving. Whatever we ordered, he was serving it to the next table. Bt even after waiting for an our they served us fish thali instead of prawn thali. It ws frustrating. Many customers went after waiting for 15-20 min as nobody ws coming to take the order.

It's the only hotel on the highway for a long stretch. Food (upma) is delicious

Order Veg Thali. It had Very good quantity and was cost effective. Waiting time is high due to crowd. Washrooms were very clean and hygienic.

Very few items available all the time. And the taste was horrible... Chutney looks like water..no salt...chai is without milk... spoilt the whole day mood. Never gonna recommend this to anyone
