We went to enquire about rooms and tariffs but their staff is very rude and ill mannered and doesn't know how to treat guests. Not going to visit ever again. Hotels must be known for their hospitality not for such bad experience.
The location of this hotel is amazing right in the center of the main market, the view is amazing too especially during the winter season when you can see the snow filled mountains as well as the himalaya range which includes-Trishul, Mrigathuni, Maiktoli, Nanda Devi, Nandakhat and many more.
The only downside is they don't have a hot water supply throughout. It's only from 6 am to 10 am. That's inconvenient for someone who feels cold and wishes to take bath or get refreshed in the evening. It's quite inconvenient.

Found 2 deficiency in this hotel.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working leading to some smell in the room
Plus there was no toilet roll in the bathroom.
Otherwise the hotel was a decent one
The room rent I paid was Rs.1600/- per night which was very reasonable considering that it 2 beds to accommodate 3 persons.
They have a restaurant also.
The food is decent but the choices available are very limited.
Highly recommend if one is looking for budget option hotel

I had recently booked this hotel for my aged parents as they wanted to spend some time in the hills.. after going through many reviews, I booked this one. The feedback received from my parents were quite positive barring few matters which can easily be solved I think. Firstly the location.. can't get any better. Right opposite the taxi stand and near many stores etc.. was extremely convenient to all guests.
The food was also quite good and less spicy (which was perfect for my parents).. though vegetarian. But non-veg food was available all over the place hence no issues.
The room was good but did not have any cupboard to keep the clothes etc., hence making it a bit tight on space. However, it seems that few rooms did have one, so better ask the management about it.
Overall a positive stay, and with the view of the snow clad mountains right across from you balcony, its value for money
Worst experience. I have never such misbehaving hotel Staff. Food is really worst and they are charging a lot for it. We have asked for onion in salad. Staff rudely denied and even started misbehaving. Never seen such a worst hotel. Try never to visit.
Loved the rooms. Spacious rooms that were well lit. If u r planning to stay close to Ranikhet, you must consider this as an option. Trust me, you will not regret.
Room was very big and spacious, food was very flavourful. The location was serene and peaceful. The view of the mountains were absolutely amazing and overall experience was very nice. We look forward to visiting here again soon.

One of the oldest and best softy/ice cream shop at Ranikhet. The gentleman who owns the shop is a very sweet old man. They make the softy from pure milk and it tastes far better than the ones u get at Mc Donald's....in multiple flavours.

Aloo in mix veg was properly cooked with I loved. Butter Tandoori roti was butterly delicious & soft. & Masala dosa is delicious too. Fast service, Great food & quality. So I can say thatvall menu is great to have!
Entry ticket cost is Adult 75 & Child 50. Photography is not allowed inside. Full history of both Naga and Kumaon Regiment is displayed here. The place is full of GYAN. YOU need atleast 5 hours to read all what is displayed there.
