Hotel Alaya Gangtok - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Day one they will treat you like gods but if something goes wrong from which is obviously from their end ... Their real colour and identity pops out ... I faced extremely bad behaviour and service.. every tiny thing was a huge hustle at a point of time .. every thing is very peaceful at day one ... They'll call you knock at your doors for time to time meal. Tea will be served on big cups. And that too of fine quality... But as time passes the tea we have to call them repeatedly for meals to be served on time and even for the tea.. which is no longer served as they did in day 1 it is served in small cups and of very poor quality.. like their behaviour every room has hygiene issues geysers do not work properly and at the day of your checkout they will force you to leave the room indirectly through their behaviour as soon as possible. Geysers are the main thing that me and my girl faced during the stay .. it can destroy your good mood at one instance.. was my honest review so please don't check in there.... Its a trap ...

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel Alaya. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.I want to thank Mr.Ashish who is running the property, he made our holiday fantastic!!!

I was expecting something good from this place. But unfortunately it's very much disappointed. At first day, the staffs will treat you like you are so precious. But as days will pass, you will understand their behavior. In most of the rooms, geysers don't work properly. I was in middle of bathing and suddenly cold water came and I had to bath with that cold water at that cold weather. I have complained but they say "besi gorom jole snan korle ga pure jabe" and they did not bothered to repair those geysers. At first day, they gave us perfect elaichi chai in the morning.. And after 2 days, when I checked in again, I don't know why the quality of the tea was worst. Lastlt, I had to suffer for them a lot. Don't have good experience from the hotel.

Hotel staffs were well-behaved and there service was quick. Hotel room was beautiful but floor of the room , bedsheets were not properly clean, and TV wasn't working.when I asked to change the bedsheet ,they did promptly. Bathroom was good ,even window view from bathroom was marvellous and geyser available and working.But the property is far way from M.G.Marg ,about 1km almost and walkable for young people but not for aged.Rented Cars available very near to the property. window view from hotel room is marvellous and one sunny morning we noticed kanchanjanga peak.

Rooms are good enough, well maintained, owner is friendly , the location of the hotel is also not so bad , MG Street is near this hotel , only food is not that good here.

Overall what a view from this hotel at Gangtok. Really a nice place for visit in the city at Gangtok. Rooms are available in hotel Alaya is good and facilities are also ok in this hotel. View of Gangtok is very nice from the hotel room. Cab facilities and tour packages are also available at this place. Just go and enjoy the place

Worst hotel in Gantok.I would request everyone not to come to this hotel by mistake when coming to Gangtok Every member Ford of this hotel... In the hotel who is the owner or the manager, nothing is right, there is always harassment and everyone's behavior is very bad. In this hotel, Debashish works with another person named Ashish whose behavior is very bad.I had a very bad experience from this hotel in Gangtok. I am warning everyone please don't come and stay in this hotel..

Nice views and ... The nice place to live here for a trip ... In gangtok .. and affordable and .. Price is also good according to me...
