Hotel Alankar - Vegetarian restaurant in Vellore - Vellore, India

If you are near vellore bus stand, you can definitely try this hotel. But price is expensive & quantity is very small. One Parotta costs Rs30 but size is very small. Also dosa costs Rs60, size is small too. I have been asking for sambar & coconut chutney , they brought after completing my food.

A great choice for vegetarian people. I visited this place was recommended by the people from the hotel where I was staying. Trust me you wont regret. Everytime you try new dish it comes out to be the best. The lunch they served veg thali where they have around 9 items including rice and papad. All the items are delicious. The service is too good. They provide extra servings if you want. The veg thali is for 100 which was little more for me. So for the people like me coming from North 2 people can eat in that one veg thali. You can ask for extra plate and then can have the rice and other daal and curry they provide themselves. Other items dosa, idli, chola puri and appam(sorry if I am wrong with the spellings) I triedin the dinner which was also worth the price. I would recommend If any north people coming here and want to try veg options should come here and have the veg thali ones. The place is too clean and hygenic and the service is also the best.

Good South India food I have tasted so for. It is looking hygienic. Transparent kitchen and caring waitress is additional points. You'll leave the hotel with smile. Especially the price point.

Newly opened branch opposite to Vellore bus stand exit gate. Mostly crowded during peak hours and serving food even at 10.30 pm. The staffs are serving quickly. Food quality is good and they need to maintain this on long run. Tiffin items are good in taste. Car parking is available on the street but it may be difficult to find space at peak hours.

Worst place to eat and they packed spolit food and wrong order the parcel person is very rude and Local goon. There are cockroaches found in other foods please avoid this hotel

Hotel Alankar, Located near the Vellore Bus stand serves awesome and delicious vegetarian food at affordable prices. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. The staffs run around taking your order and serves it hot. We tried the Special Paratha, Kuzhi Paniriyam, Chinese Paratha, Pongal and Podi Idli. It was yum yum and mouth watering. The hotel also serves you fresh juices/ tea and coffee and also a corner wherein you can buy delicious sweets / savoury. Find a place to park your vehicle is a big hurdle.
