Very near to road side. Normal non veg meals. Not much place for dine In. At a time 15 people can take lunch. Neatness is main problem. Otherwise it's best optio. Good taste and friendly staff. Very authentic taste. No artificial taste added. Price very reasonable. No Gpay or card. Only cash Please work on dine in area.

Very delicious homely meals. Fish is main. Price is little high but its worthy. We three of us had lunch there. Meals are main there. Normal meals with kappa and meen curry. Side curries are so tasty. Should be there at 12.30 pm. Already have a fish fry with meal and so tasted and spicy fish gravy too. With kappa its vere level. And we can order special fish fry there. We ordered thilopia fry. Its was also too nice. The masala used in fry was very tasty and felt like natural ingredients. Drinking water provided is mineral water. Sometimes there we should wait in que. No advance table booking there. No online payments. Should keep cash in our hand. One meal includes unlimited rice, kappa, curries and a fry, it costs 150Rs.We were three and we ordered 3 meals, one medium thilopia fish fry,and three bottles of mineral water overall it costs about 810Rs

first of all ... The old lady is so rude! we went there just to eat kappa and fish curry only and we just enquired the prices of fried fishes just to check whether we can afford it or not ! they didn't even responded to our enquiry and the old lady just told to their staffs to serve a big fish to us even without asking us ! i think the staffs has no voice there! they all are like slaves of her... maybe it's because of a local village and there liveli hood will be based on that income....! they behaved like we don't exist there ! when a big fish was served to our table i again asked them the price ! the staffs were looking at that old lady and didn't say a word to us...! it is sure that the fish would be above 500rupees! finally i told them that i only had 300 rupees with me! then that old lady scolded that staffs and realised that we dont have such money with us and taken back that fish....! and they charged two of us 200* for a little much of kappa and fish gravy and that food was even not good! worst experience ever i had in my all life.....! i dont know that if her character is like that always...! but for me it's really rude....! and worst! ( did anyone had any experience like this?

Its not the atmosphere but the taste that matters. And it is one of the great example of it. The taste is extraordinary and the quantity is too. 150Rs for the meals with around 6 or 7 dishes with fish curry, fish fry, and nadan chicken perattu

We went there by evening and it was just kappa and frish curry we wanted, the fish curry they served us was the left over of tala curry which was horrible, and the old lady started yelling at us the moment we enquired about fish fry and its rate. They served us a huge fish fry before we ordered and my friend again asked the cost of that one which we were sure to be expensive and it was when they still kept yelling at us for asking the rates, my friend said he just had Rs 300 with him and that made the old lady furious they took back the huge fry 5 mit later another lady again came with fish fry this time another ones and we said we hadn't ordered any fish fry and we made it clear when they first brought one for us. And in revenge they charged us Rs 300 which my friend said at the beginning as what he had. But it was for the fry they offered the second time which we said we didn't order and asked them to take back as soon as they brought then they said it cost Rs 200 just for the kappa which i should say was horrible and the left over curry which didn't have any fish pieces in it. As people who are adventurous about food it was the worst experience for me and my buddy so we would suggest to anyone who reads this not to visit in other times rather than afternoon lunch time. Worst hospitality ever experienced!

Located very close to the Chittar Dam,this is a good place for your lunch stop.The fish fry meals and the special fish head curry (locally called "Thala Curry") are must try items in their menu.,with a reasonable price tag. Service and the hygiene factors needs a special mention.The dining seats are limited, and at times,you may expect a bit of waiting period here.

Bad experience - We went there by noon , it was totally messy . Eight to ten seats and twenty to thirty people waiting, inside was like an oven . We decided to leave , then she called us back. Food was just average for the price and the old lady's behaviour was really rude. If you expect anything better go there with your camera open. Totally disappointed.

A must visit for any traveller and food lover. The food is simply grand and super good considering the prize. The only thing is the shop is small and has limited space. Soon, Subhadra Amma is opening a more spacious shop. So that sorted !
