Need to improve the room electrification. Power point for charging was not functioning. AC water was directly leaking on the bed. One good thing was the room boys were very curtious and getting food from outside, since there is no restaurant in this place.
It is walkable but around 10mins you have to walk if ur ready to walk u can prefer here.Parking not available in the building u can park outside no problem regarding that.Staff is ok i visited on Saturday.Price is little high 1000rs for normal room u if ur ok then u can adjust.main thing is Mosquitoes sabhaa worst.I got feverish bcoz of that..management should take steps to clear.Heater is not switched on i think u have to ask them.I wont use hot waters so i didnt but have checked not available.
Best place to stay in rameshwaram both temple and main market is easily accessible for here and the best part os service they are so helpful and guide you with all the nearby spot.
Homely atmosphere. Good people are still existing. We missed the bag in auto at 6am and the auto driver came by 10.30.

This is just an okay type hotel. Just the basic amenities. Just enough parking space too. The hotel staff behave very well. They are all supportive and nice. Rameshwaram temple is just a walk away from here. This is just an economical lodging facility.
Stayed for 2 days in Rameshwar with one of my friend. 1. Room was spacious, towels and soaps were provided. 2. Rate was reasonable (Better to negotiate directly for best rates. Online shows much high price when i see now). 3. Staff was good and they did proactively on the AC 15 minutes before checkin to cool down the room. 4. Excellent Coffee and tea provided with regular charges (20 per cup). The outsource from somewhere outside but is very good and refreshing. Improvement Areas 1. More charging points to be provided
I stayed for a day at Akshaya Hotel... Due to huge demand initially they offered me a 4 bed room for Rs 2500. Advantages are #spacious room #Tv available Disadvantage # No hot water even there is a heater.. # lot of ants # mosquitoes ( window can't get closed) # Ceiling fans are not up to the mark # No soaps available # Towels on demand only # Room service available only at the time of collecting tips. # very bad location and not having any parking space. NEVER OPT THIS HOTEL..
