It was just amazing cannot believe the Managment treatment with us Our agent din't paid the amount to the Hotel but the treatment to us was just super at the check out time they gave us the reminder and said if you want to go you pls carry your trip then we pushed our agent to Pay the Bill Because we already had paid him in advance from us can't Believe the Hospitality of the Team they dint Spoil the trip & Time ALL KASHMIRI PEOPLES ARE GREAT I would Suggest everyone to visit Kashmir Atleast Once AND SPECIALLY HOTEL AKBAR IN SONAMARG . Believe me it's 7 Star Property
The rooms very spacious with a mesmerizing view. All the rooms were heated and with hot water supply. There were variety of dishes. The food was very tasty. Location was very beautiful covered with mountains on all the side. It was a very pleasant stay
Excellent service and staff especially Mr. Faizan who is servicing the guests well... They are running this hotel facing several challenges in terms of climate.. Still they could overcome all the Huddles and provide excellent service.. We visited in the month of Dec 2022 and temperature was even -13 at night and didn't had any issues staying in hotel. Will definitely recommend..
I had a very bad experience on this property i called 3 time in reception for menu but they didn't provide menu I go for breakfast nd ask for menu they ignore really bad experience in this property I hope management will improve this
I had a great great stay at Hotel Akbar. The view of Snow Clad mountains from the room was the highlight ! Both the service and food were amazing. The staff was really courteous and caring. Stay here is Definitely recommended !
We stayed for 1 night and it was worth it. All rooms are centrally heated along with electric blankets and 24/7 hot water. Rooms were cozy and spacious. Mr. Farooq Ahmed cooks some amazing finger licking food and Mr. Faizan is always available at your service. Highly recommended!
This hotel and sonmarg vibe is something very nice and peaceful our whole experience for this place and hotel is awesome, but our experience with union peoples are very bad, so need to develop that side from J&k tourism

One of our best meals during our trip to Kashmir. This gem in Gulmarg served us such delicious food we just kept wanting more. It's a small joint at the corner of the market but don't go by the appearance. The two brothers provides such great service
