Beautiful and spacious rooms. The hotel is exceptionally clean and hotel staff are well courteous and prompt. Room is cleaned everyday and beds are very comfortable. Although the location is in scenic surroundings, it's away from city center and one needs to depend on hotel meals most of the time. Giving one star less due to provision of breakfast after 8.00 am which can cause delays for those who plan to go sightseeing
I absolutely loved the Indian cuisine compared to Chinese dishes. Not only was the food delicious, but the overall experience was enhanced by the exquisite ambiance and stunning interior of the restaurant. Although the price range was slightly higher, it was well worth it considering the exceptional quality of the food and the breathtaking atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design truly elevated the dining experience, making it even more enjoyable and memorable.
Went here for dinner with family. The waiters were very friendly and duly complied with our requests about the seating and food as well. The restaurant has one of the best views of Shillong at night. As for the food, I'd give it 3 stars.Taste was average.
Very nicely done with beautiful interiors and an awesome view of the city! I especially love that as soon as we entered the main gate, there were 4-5 local dogs moving around inside and all are well taken care of! This for me was the BEST SCENE in a luxurious place like this!
Only came for dinner. Chicken bharta was 8/10, delicious, could have come out warmer. Changs service was excellent! Music was absolutely god awful (80s ...rock?) made me wanna leave so fast. Worse than the millennial garbage at all the other restaurants Would def come back for a cocktail, view is fantastic.
I had an incredible week-long stay at Acropolis with my family. The hotel offers a breathtaking scenic view of Shillong, at any time of the day. The hotel manager's exceptional care and willingness made our experience even more enjoyable. The staff members were very polite adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the meals provided were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning surroundings and attentive service.
Service was really bad and the waiter was really impatient...we had to ask several times just for small things like water,salt, etc We were forced to have the main course even when we already told them to wait many times because we wanted to finish our starters and drinks first... Seems like the waiter wanted to quickly finish his shift.. we arrived here at 8 for dinner and upon arrival he told us that the last order here is at 9 so hence we ordered the starters and main course at the same time... Maybe he was inexperienced in this line of work.. we were very annoyed really ,instead of enjoying the food and scenery!
Honestly the place was good with interior design and the decor was awesome and night time is the best to visit chill with friends and family with beautiful view but talking about food the Chinese aren't good so much it was tasteless please tell your cheff to improve on that but Indian cuisine it was good.
Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.
