Opposite to Kottayam railway station. A decent and spacious vegetarian restaurant. Food taste and quality were decent. They have a clean washroom.

The food was really amazing. We ordered bhatura, poori masala and chilli porotta. Bhatura was really amazing. The coconut chutney, chana masala with it was also good. The poori was good. The chilli porotta was little soggy. That was not that pleasing.

Restaurant Review: Inconsistent Special Meal Experience I recently had the opportunity to try the special meal at a restaurant, and I must say that the experience left me with mixed feelings. The special meal consisted of 14 items, and here's a breakdown of my observations: Starting on a positive note, the pickle served with the meal was a safe bet. It added a tangy and flavorful element to the overall experience. The curd, most likely a packaged product, was satisfactory and served its purpose well. The appalam, being fried and fresh, provided a delightful crunch, earning a thumbs-up. Moving on to the dessert, the combination of ice cream and gulab jamun was pleasing. However, the gulab jamun's minuscule size was a disappointment, although it managed to pair well with the ice cream. It is worth noting that both items were likely pre-packaged and simply served. The sambar and dal presented a perplexing taste, as both had a similar flavor profile. This lack of distinctiveness made it challenging to discern the individuality of these dishes. The rasam, consisting of water, pepper, and coriander leaves, lacked the depth of flavor one would expect. The biryani, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. It seemed as though the rice had been mixed with some curry, resulting in a rather unremarkable flavor. On the other hand, the white rice, being simply boiled, provided a safe and reliable option. The chapathi fared better with its well-cooked texture and nicely browned appearance, reflecting a decent level of skill in preparation. However, the paneer butter masala was a letdown. It was excessively sweet, to the point where it resembled a cashew nut payasam rather than a savory dish. On a more positive note, the Gobi Manchurian and carrot thoran managed to satisfy the taste buds. These dishes showcased flavors that were well-balanced and enjoyable. However, the vegetable soup fell short of expectations, lacking the depth and richness that one would typically associate with a soup. Regrettably, the overall service at the restaurant did not meet the mark. While some dishes had their moments, the inconsistency across the meal was evident. It is essential for a special meal to provide a cohesive and satisfying experience, which was unfortunately lacking in this case. In conclusion, my experience with the special meal at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While some items such as the pickle, appalam, ice cream with gulab jamun, chapathi, Gobi Manchurian, and carrot thoran were enjoyable, there were notable disappointments like the paneer butter masala and the underwhelming biryani. The service also fell short of expectations, lacking the attention to detail and overall consistency that one would hope for. I believe there is room for improvement for this restaurant to elevate its special meal experience by refining flavors, ensuring consistency, and enhancing the overall service.

The place is really neat, which gave a positive impression. The food was not only tasty but had a great value for money. The serving staff were friendly and attentive.The restaurant attracts a crowd ,which shows its quality. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.

It's a good veg restaurant available in Kottayam. It's nearby to bakers junction in the town area. I have ordered paneer butter masala(160)and Nan(25),which was good in taste and the price is reasonable. The service people are good and they won't make you wait.

Taste Cleanliness Customer Service The only spot in Kottayam to get a decent vegetarian breakfast/lunch. I love the desserts here too. The hospitality is great. Parking is limited but they have valet parking. It can be crowded during the peak hours but it keeps moving.

I ordered 3 items today through Zomato .But I didn't receive one item, Veg fried rice which I ordered for my kid.When I chat with zomato they had given me Rs155 off on next order. But I have to give another delivery charge.It is not fare We have time waste and money waste. Then how could we order from this hotel next time? We are not like to visit this hotel. From this incident we came to know that service is bad.

Vegetarian restaurant in Kottayam town, baker junction. A good restaurant Parking : limited space. Difficult during busy hours. Food. Tasty Above average & no bad remarks. Staff : Acceptable behavior to customers Cleanliness : Average. Acceptable.. However my opinion there is still room for improvement. Rate : similar to any other veg restaurants in the town.
