Hotel Aakashdeep - Hotel in Dehradun - Dehradun, India

Room service was very lame. Washroom was not maintained, the jet was not working as it is supposed to . The worst , we got awake at midnight and found their was no electricity in our room ,waited for sometime then thought to complain but suddenly noticed that other rooms were having electricity . Then got to know someone switched off the light and fan from outside . First time experienced something like that

We took a double bed room at this hotel for around 1100 per night and it was horrifying. The room had no ventilation, it was too hot to be lived in. The walls has fungi grieving over it with a musty stench. I want able to sleep that night due to the heat. It was cooler outside on the streets than in the room.

We stayed there for 2 days 7 years ago. Manager told us room rent as Rs 750 at the check-in but fraudulently wrote the rent as Rs 900 in the slip given to me which we couldn't see at that time as we were tired at that time. At the check-out he denied what he said earlier and quarrelled and charged at Rs 900. Besides, there were also many problems. Room smells stinky. Fan was not working. Food was pathetic. Hotel staff always quarrelling themselves outside at the night. Some suspicious women were also seen at the reception late night. Overall, it is not a place to stay with family.

Both veg and non veg food available. Average rooms considering 3 star hotel standard. Wifi available only in lobby area, not in any rooms. Inexpensive rooms. 5 min walk from railway station.

The outer look of hotel is pretty nice...they provide 3 categories in 1400,1200,1000....i stay in 1400 one... but once u enter in room one thing u realise first is that this is old...like mirror in bathroom is broken....poor ventilation and facilities did not do justice with price of room...

I came here as a child some 25 years ago. It was a nice descent hotel back then, tasty food. I remember I liked their potato cutlet very much. Want to visit again, but for now only revisiting old memories through Google maps

Don't stay here...worst hotel ...With very bad management...I stay one night there and faced lots problem ...like bed sheets are not properly clean and when ever I request to change they refused ,... lots of bugs(khatmal) in bed ..so I haven't slept properly , and water supply is not properly maintained... and my American tourister bag also destroyed by mouse in hotel .... I inform to the hotel owner about the matter.. doesn't get any feedback ...attaching all the photos as a proof of my statements

So this hotel is located in Dehradun...a few minutes in an auto from Dehradun station. It looks good from outside. We went to book our rooms there but honestly the rooms are not worth the price. We didn't liked and the price was higher than expected so we moved out. So I won't recommend this one.
