HOT - House Of Travellers - Hostel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

We had a great stay! The rooms were very clean in comparison to most rooms we stayed in in India. The staff is young, hip and friendly. The hostel is very modern, colourful and has a nice atmosphere. We loved it here <3

The rooms are great. The people managing the hotel are great. We stayed in Superior rooms situated on the first floor. The view from the rooms is amazing. The services and food were very good. They also provide all services like renting bike, scooty, taxi, rafting etc. The place is situated 200 meters from main road in Tapovan. The road from main road is very steep and getting public transport is a little difficult. You might have to walk 10-15 mins to get Autos. If you are renting a vehicle then its a perfect place to stay otherwise, walking to the hotel can be a tough task, specially if you are traveling with your family.

I love it! I stayed there often and for a long time. I love everyone from the crew, the food is amazing, the parties and events are fantastic. I still visit there. It is great and I absolutely recommend it to everyone and all my friends. Lots of love, hugs and blessings to all of you P. S. WiFi is good, it is very clean, the rooms, beds and bathrooms very good.

The services provided by the hostel is terribly pathetic. Please avoid booking any dormitory beds in this hostel. Some of the defects that we faced on our very first day: Lift not working Wifi not working Electricity issues throughout the day No water in the washroom taps Air conditioner not allowed during the day (even the temperatures are soaring high and it's burning like hell)

THERE ARE MANY COCROACHES in the room We reserved three rooms. There were all cocroaches big and baby even on my bed They changed my room but it was still the same experience. That Made all experience terrible. I dont care it is in the city center. There are many. I saw the pillow Under cover it was really durtu. There is a bas amel in the reception and also sometimes in the room

My stay at HOT was an absolutely incredible experience! The staff were amazing, always friendly and willing to help with anything I needed. But what really stood out to me was the sense of community that this hostel fostered. There were always so many interesting people to meet and the community events were truly something special. From road trips to art workshops to live music, there was always something fun and exciting going on. Of course, the rooms themselves were also great. They were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I can't recommend this place enough in you are in Rishikesh :)

I just want say very honestly first of all staff was good but If you give dormitory room to your traveler, then explain a little to the foreigners who are there in dormitory that they should behave with their companions. I just want to share my honest review ........ We had to take a bus to Kedarnath at 5 am in the morning..so we got up a bit early and those two foreigners behaved very rudely and also abused us.And those two foreigners kicked us out of the room..and the person who was with me had to get ready on the stairs. Hum us time pe wahan bilkul safe nahi the wo log wanted to fight. So u have to be very careful about your traveler safety.
