Hostel Mantra - Backpacker Hostel in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

The stay was value for money. We got the two private rooms (they were adequate for a small visit, the room with twin beds needs some renovation work in the washroom). The staff is courteous and helpful. The complementary breakfast was decent. Only con was the fact that there was no housekeeping done for our 3 nights stay.

Cleanliness was missing plus ac was not properly working. Mattress and pillow were also not comfortable. They are even charging to use washing machine. Only good thing was breakfast, which had options and was healthy . but they ask guests to do dishes .... don't know what to say abt it. Earlier was staying here regularly but then a guy on reception who claimed to be the owner asked me not to click pics of bed as he has registered the design of it... was very stupid reaction. So it discontinued and after a long time I visited and i don't regret not coming here.

This hostel is overrated. There was absolutely no service but that's understandable given it's a hostel but it was dirty! The bathrooms were dirty, rooms weren't ventilated, hygiene issues towered over the microscopic good things the hostel might possess. The only good thing about the hostel is its area and the dog

Let's start with the fact that this place is located in a cozy green region of the city with excellent infrastructure, but really the first thing that catches your soul is the incredible atmosphere of cleanliness. Every day I I watch how something is improved, cleaned, washed, adjusted and everything is in an atmosphere of care, smile and goodwill. Entering the Hostel you instantly get acquainted with the hospitality of the Dog named Tra. A creature that cheers up every day. The guests who choose the Mantra are very polite and kind, there are no alcoholic boozes and dirt. Everyone helps each other. And also music. She is always here, like you in a stylish shop or cafe on the beach. This is the best place of this kind. thank you and wish you to develop in the same positive rhythm.

It's clear that your team goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The atmosphere at your hostel was vibrant and inviting. I had the opportunity to meet a diverse group of travelers, and the communal spaces provided the perfect setting for making new friends. The connectivity from the hostel to the happening spots was convenient. You can get a tuk tuk right outside the entry gate as well. It's remarkable how your hostel fosters a sense of community and connection among guests. Moreover, the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities were outstanding. It's evident that the hostel takes great pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Overall, my stay at Hostel Mantra was an unforgettable experience. I met wonderful people, enjoyed excellent service, and felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I had an amazing experience at this hostel! Manager Pardeep was incredibly helpful in navigating the city. The 9 bunk dorm with an attached toilet cum bathroom was convenient, and the daily cleaning by the dedicated cleaner maintained hygiene. I was impressed by how well other guests kept the washroom tidy too. The air-conditioned rooms provided a pleasant stay, and I was relieved not to encounter any unpleasant smells during my stay. The laundry service was available with additional charges, which was convenient and the wifi facility was a bonus. For heavy breakfast eaters, ordering through Swiggy or Zomato is an option, and for lunch and dinner, there are plenty of options outside. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for fellow travelers!

Best hostel in Andheri West, Amazing location and there are so many good cafes nearby like Tim Horton's, Starbucks, and so on. If you are looking for a long stay this is the best place. Versova metro station is just 2 Km. I just loved it.
