One of the most newly built hostel of IIT Bombay with well furnished rooms and equipped with all necessary facilities; only issue is rooms are a bit smaller in size for double occupancy. Otherwise great hostel and mess is also wonerful with nice food.
Great infrastructure newly built. Washing machine, water cooler, hot shower, mess, Table tennis, badminton, gym, all the facilities available. Great view from roof top. You can see hiranandani, Powai lake, vihar Lake, sameer hills, and the entire lush green campus. Nice and cold breeze at night.
It Looks like a Hotel. Even when I took an admission I had not thought that there would be a Washing machine in hostel. Here, It is really great view from terrace. We can see Pawai Lake, Vihar Lake & Hills. If you visit IIT BOMBAY then I would recommend you to visit Hostel 18 or 17 inside IIT. It is life time experience of IIT's Life. In campus everyone wants to stay in Hostel 18 or 17. We have one of the best mess in IIT, also TT, Tennis, carrom and Gym inside the Hostel.

Hostel 18 is relatuvely new hostel with good rooms and facilities. It has 9 floors with lift facility, cycle parking space, gym, pool room, TV room, reading room etc., The rooms are neat with clean wash rooms nearby. The hostel is friendly for physicall challenged too with walking ramps, separate integrated rest rooms (toilets and bathing facility combined). The mess is clean and hygienic with nice food.
Hostel 18 is very neat and beautiful. Yes, it is one of the new hostel in IITB. Infrastructure is very good, very big and we'll maintained (as of now). Food in mess is fine as well. Very Enjoying.
