Everything went well. We had a nice sleep after a very tired full day. But one small thing is that the restroom size is a little bit small. So found it difficult to bath freely. Apart from that all good. Walkable distance from central railway station.
My overnight stay at Horizon Inn in Chennai was marked by a blend of positives and drawbacks. While the staff demonstrated a degree of accommodation, the rooms showcased signs of wear and tear with noticeable seepage on the walls, antiquated windows, and subpar cleanliness, especially in the bathroom where fittings were both rusty and dirty. The service experience was further marred by an unresponsive room service and housekeeping staff, displaying a lack of enthusiasm when called upon. The property, though recently renovated from the inside, bore the marks of its age. A rather unpleasant surprise awaited me in the form of a live rat inside the toilet commode, a far cry from the expected standards of hygiene. Despite these setbacks, the redeeming feature of my brief stay was the breakfast, falling somewhere between mediocre and satisfactory. In summary, Horizon Inn leaves room for improvement, especially in terms of room maintenance, staff attitude, and pest control. While not entirely devoid of positives, the negatives overshadowed the overall experience, making it a less than stellar choice for accommodation in Chennai.
Restroom hand shower was not working, though informed it was not cleared or not cared to clear. While vacating before the check out time we requested for keeping our bags in there and will take in few hours. But was denied telling we cannot take care of things. Most people visiting such places are on business purpose, providing cloakroom or cupboard can be made.
We checked in at morning 9.30 am.. Check out at the same time... Its located near Chennai Central.. AC leaking at night.. Breakfast not as good as expected.. No tea provided with breakfast..
The room was ok and average, the toilet was too small we can't even use the closet properly... The taps are almost rusted... The parking space is too small... They have wifi facility & hot and cold water facility also.

Room is of reasonable size. Bathroom was small. No toiletries were provided. AC was working but did not have adequate cooling. There were dust on table.
Room service is very bad...Ac is not working...after informed,hotel staff check and say they don't do anything with that issue...manager behaviour is very very bad...overall it is totally bad experience
