Be careful when visit this place. Don't go and swim in the beach. Compact beach. Good Vibes beach. There are no shops. Road is literally congested and you can't even take reverse if the vehicle comes opposite it to you there are chances that your car fell down from the road.
Peaceful place for relaxation and one of the cleanest beach around Gokarna, Ankola
This beach is also open for outsiders for certain hours (in the day). Otherwise it's a eco tourism property called Red Earth. I'm assuming with the location that the stay would be great. In Dec 2022 (last week) we did not find any shack or a place to sit and drink/eat at the honey beach but I'm sure there are restaurants that function inside the property and the other parts of the beach. It's totally offbeat and needs to be kept clean. Another new place called Akanta has come into operation (you will cross it when you are coming upto honey beach). They offer glamping but with no beach view. My suggestion is if you make it this far - stay at Red Earth.
Just loved going here! We put up our tent on the cliff of the hill at night and....boy oh boy what a beautiful sunrise it was! It almost felt like our private beach. There's hardly anyone who visits this beach as its totally unknown. Super clean beach. But very Very dangerous beach to play in. Not good for playing in water. The water gets crazy deep right from the start. You won't see a single person swimming in the beach. There's a beautiful resort right beside the beach over the cliff. The people who stay at the resort has to trek down the cliff and reach the beach. The trek hardly takes 5mins to come down to the beach. But a very calm pleasent place to visit. But I repeat please do not play in this beach! Super powerful waves will pull you in and the water is crazy deep right from the beginning.
One of the cleanest and the nicest beach in gokarna. If you are looking for some place peaceful and no one to bother you then honey beach is the one. The water is magical and the ferry ride is mind blowing they charge you about 5 RS per person and 10 RS for a bike The cottage is also good the people are very warm and the price is worth. Had a great time in honey beach I wud recommend for people to visit and I wil definitely go again
Place is privatized. Difficult for local people to access the beach, if just going to visit the beach. The location is good. But the issue is roads are narrow. There is nothing nearby, so carry all your essential items with you.
This place is pleasant. Private, peaceful and lovely. Far from the maddening crowd. One can write a book on the waves having a romance with the shore... If you have your vehicle and if you love to spend some quality time with your loved ones then visit Ankola,Honey beach. Give yourself this break. You deserve it. Enjoy the food, Enjoy the drink, Happiness is life, don't let it shrink. All the best.
Serene View Amazing Stay The place is nestled far inside from the main access road and has a private beach with crystal sand. The resort Redearth offers perfect place for meditation and indoor activities. Has a good collection of books and cozy place for reading. The food is delicious with nice ambience. The staff is welcoming and caring. The stay is very comfortable and relaxing. Perfect for families. The approach road from the highway itself immerses one in the country side feeling and offers great views of the farming, fishermen and shoreline. The viewpoint has a clear 180 degree horizon view. The local fishermen gave a memorable ride on their fishing boat and offered the coastal food at the village. The lacation has a good 2-3 kms of trekking track and natural scenery is at its best across the trekking terrain. The local village houses on the approach access road fully immerses the mind into a soothing feeling. In sum total it's a great place for a getaway
