Hong Kong Restaurant - Chinese restaurant in Cuttack - Cuttack, India

I today visited this place "Hong Kong chinese restaurant" Buxibazar. I ordered three items to taste their signature foods. There was just one person who has been working ,hard and doing all set of works to manage that restaurant. The items which i tasted is Gold Coin Prawn ,Fried Spring Chiken and Chiken Fooyung. The food was average ,although not that bad or good. Gold coin prawn was bit over fried but still the taste inside it was average, creamy buttery prawn packed inside two layer of batter with bread base .The chicken was fried properly although taste was not that super. The last item was Chicken fooyung which is mostly type of omlete added vegetables and chickens seasoned inside to sum up the taste. All of them were good but could be better. It may be bit expensive as well in comparision of any other items at other place but still a onetime vist place to have new experience.

The place is so old school. High ceiling, large French windows, and very minimalist with red desks, chairs and an aquarium. But the food is amazing. Tried chilli chicken boneless and special Hong Kong soup. There are 3 sitting areas. The outside looks like it's someone's house converted into restaurant. But overall the place is good.

For authentic Chinese food, one should surely visit. I have never been disappointed over the last three decades, a wonderful place with great taste. Gold coin prawn, special nonveg chow chow are my favourite.

If you want to eat in one of the oldest restaurants then you can come here otherwise nothing exciting here

I went to this place last week. Infact my home is very near to the restaurant but I revisited the iconic place after 30 years approx. All the old staffs have died but I think it ' s still run by the Chinese family. Now coming to the food I ordered a mix fried rice which was good in taste and the portion was enough for one person but the chilli chicken was disgusting. The moment I put the first piece into my mouth I wanted to vomit but somehow gulped it. I have never tried a mouse but don ' t know why I think a mouse will taste the same when cooked. I will not suggest you people to give a visit. Khali naam se restaurant nahi chalta.

This place is oldest Chinese restaurant in Cuttack which is running in a home. You will get true Chinese food at here. Main thing is that now this place is not as per previous standard. Food also average. Only thing is Homely atmosphere.

I request to all, kindly don't go Hong Kong Cuttack restaurant. Recently I visited with my family and I never seen such worst restaurant in my entire life. I think that, this restaurant give some special Chinese food and some traditional Chinese food. But totally disappointed. Price is so much high that you need to sell your 1 kidney to order 1 plate of mixed chow mein. Plates are really dirty. Table chairs looks like very old and covered with dust. We found worm's on our foods. Such a horrible experience. Don't waste your money.

Hong Kong Restaurant has lost its charm. The food was not how it used to be. I visited this place out of nostalgia, to revive old memories. I was disappointed and all my memories now have a tarnish. The veg manchurian was burnt, the quantity has reduced and the prices have increased in contrast to the taste of food.
