Holiday Inn Goa Candolim, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Candolim - North Goa, India

My 5 days stay with 2 rooms was just amazing. The Hotel is wonderfully located, with just 10 min walk to the Candolim beach. Then you can hire scooters/cars just outside hotel for a day or 2. With a scooter, Aguda fort is also 10 min ride. Hotel's pool was clean and used by all my family members few times. The rooms are quite good with USB power outlets, which meant simultaneous charging of all our equipment's was easy. I would like to give special shout-out to Riya, who was managing our floor / room. Her customer skills are above par. I have stayed in lot of IHG hotels across the globe and I can say for sure, she is one of the best. Every day when we entered our rooms, from our day out, they were neatly cleaned, our request for extra water or other requests were duly taken care of and there was always a nice surprise in the form of towel arts. Also the approach of Mr Sharma from front office was appreciable when he gave chocolates box to my kid as a departing gift and the taxi drivers son was looking, so he quickly went inside and got another box for him. The drivers son was hardly 2 years and the happiness of receiving a gift was clearly visible on his face. thanks for making his day and ours. This IHG property is a clear winner among all the properties I stayed in India this time. Kudos.

First of all a big THANK YOU To Chef Mohammed Jakir, Chef Urmila Fernandes , Chef Rama , Chefs team,Arshad and Selina.I had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite 5-star hotel, and the standout feature was undeniably the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and professionalism made me feel like a valued guest. The attentiveness of the staff was truly exceptional, anticipating my needs and ensuring every detail was attended to with precision. Their genuine commitment to customer satisfaction elevated my overall experience, making my stay truly memorable. I commend the hotel for assembling such a dedicated and capable team, contributing to a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere.I had the pleasure of savoring the goan omelette ( signature dish )crafted by Chef Urmila Fernandes and it was truly a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, each ingredient harmonizing perfectly to create a symphony and a remarkable gastronomic adventure.

Good hotel, great, professional & friendly staff. The food too is good here. The room size is not too big but decent with clean linens with all the basic needs. Swimming pool of a decent size for kids to enjoy. The best part is the location. Right in the heart of all the action happening in Candolim.

Two stars because of the location, close to the beach and restaurants. I have no idea how this hotel has any good reviews, maybe it's the nice view from the rooms but the hotel is run extremely poorly! The power cuts out (not an issue as it's normal in the area) but then it takes 20 mins for the AC to go back on. We also had another power trip due to their iron and it took them hours to reconnect our room to electricity. Housekeeping didn't change floor towel for two days and God forbid if you want anything done, the staff take a long time. If this hotel had good service and was run by competent people it would be fantastic but unfortunately it's not.

I am very pleased to mention here that the overall stay that I had in Holiday Inn Candolim was excellent, the entire hotel staff is very cooperative, and ready to extend full support in making the guest feel comfortable in hotel so. The Operations manager, Mr. Gaurav Sharma was very impressive in terms of their hospitality. Overall, it was an excellent experience staying in this hotel. Would love to stay in same hotel again and again.

Had a very memorable experience. They were very friendly and welcoming. Best thing was they provided buggy cart for beach travel. The reception attender were also very friendly

I can't wait to return and indulge in the lavish experience once again.

Please check diligently while booking online. So on the main page of the website that I booked the hotel through it was mentioned that breakfast is complimentary. But as one goes to select a room the website cleverly leaves that out.The reception could have been more accommodating for breakfast but they mentioned an absurd rate. Generally had a feeling that the staff were too snobbish. Probably didn't want any youngsters in their hotel. The rooms are fantastic and the location is prime! I wouldn't mind visiting this place again when I'm in my 50's in a fancy car because that's when the staff would be more welcoming. Not a place I would recommend for youngsters.
