The most reverend temple in the area and must to see and powerful temple . Abhisheka one needs to be there before 8 am . After 9 am they close moorthy darshan for one hour and resume for Alankara darshan and archana. Open ample car parking. Oldest temple with no renovation etc. The most visited place by local Brahmins esp Sankethi and Hassan Iyengars and Gowdas . The best holy place to perform Abhishekam and Archana. We have three moorthys Main one,SriLakshmi Narayana and Sri Venugopalaswamy in the same premises with huge compound ,mostly ruined !

One late evening we were travelling to arkalgudu from Hassan. To off to visit the temple. By gods grace temple was open and none of the devotees were present. There is ample space for parking. And there is a tap outside to get wash your feets. The temple is kept in neat and good condition and daily rituals are going that shows liveliness of the temple. Temple was very calm and peaceful as nobody was there. The priest accompanied to inside the temple and did Aarati and had chitchat with us about our locality we came from. It was a pleasant visit.

Wow Deity is so spectacular to watch !! Centuries old temple is located on hemavathi riven bank. Temple is open from morning 8:00 to around 12:00 noon and evening from around 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Every year rathasapthami is celebrated grandly with a chariot procession within inner center of Goruru. Update: Every year Deity fair is getting bigger and enjoyable !!
Peaceful place and very good Temple. During jaathre time it will be a very good to see this temple. Pushkarni is also beside the temple . The temple environment is very good and it's pushkarni maintained very clean . Went in the evening time , evenings usually it will open at 5:30 .
Ancient temple on the banks of river Hemavathi. Good part is, this place is 1 km away from the Gorur Dam entrance making it easier to access. Road to the temple was under construction too. Annual procession attracts devotees from across the state of Karnataka.
The temple is currently under renovation. However the main sanctum/temple is open for devotees. Opens from 1030 Am to 0200 in the noon and opens again around 0530 pm Visited in October 2023
