Hokersar Wetland - Wildlife park in Gund Hassi Bhat, Srinagar - Srinagar, India

The Hokersar is a wetland conservation area in Zainakote, near Srinagar city in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It lies in the Kashmir Valley, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of Srinagar.[1] The Hokersar, which spreads over 1,375 hectares (13.75 km2), is a designated bird sanctuary.

Beautiful place. Off season odd time during the day still saw 20 species at least. Best time to go in winters for migratory birds.

Hokersar Wetlands is now not only a wet land, but also a popular breeding place for many migratory birds of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in Srinagar, Srinagar District, Jammu and Kashmir and at a distance of 10 kilometres from Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

This is one of the best places for Bird watching wildlife photography. This is one of the largest wetland Bird sanctuary in Kashmir. You can see number of resident as well as non resident migratory birds here throughout the year.

Wow what an amazing scenery there .alot of animal and bird species are found there .the session is charming and the morning os bright ful with every chirp chirp of the birds and bulbuls. The black crows the pigeon and the parrot are playing with their families and she the evening comes all families came back with the heart filled moment .

make a permenent water logged wetland.....birds from other counties will more come, and we can see them...and big thing is please make security tight for birds, 2019/20 is soo good first time i see that much of SWANS came in wetland....
