Hobo Huts by the Riverside - Bed & breakfast in Lingurata - Almora, India

It was an amazing excursion with stay at Hobo Huts by Riverside. The place is spread in about 5 acres. It is situated right next to the river, so if you wish to take a dip, you are only a few steps away. You have to cross a small wooden bridge to reach the resort. There are around 5 cottages with all basic amenities (except television and wifi). There are multiple picturesque spots in the resort itself, like gazebo. You can spend good time with your loved ones in the background of breathtaking mountain views and sound of flowing water. The beauty gets enhanced in the night when lights are on. The lights add kind of colours and ambience which will stay in your mind for a lifetime. Meal is prepared by the owner himself, the Tituji. He prepares the meal with locally grown organic ingredients and lots of love and passion. Even the simple food items taste extraordinary due to the company of Tituji and the ambience. You can have meals with bonefire or even on the river banks. Mild music, flowing water, pleasant cold and backdrop of mountains is what you need to get a reset from your hectic life, and that is exactly what this place offers. If you are an animal lover, this is a heaven for you. The owner has 2 lovely dogs with puppies and two kittens. My children were almost always busy playing with these pets. You can visit a secluded waterfall with an owl's nest, take village walk or yiu can take a trip to pataal bhuvneshwar from here. All in all, it is a place if you want a break from your hectic life or want to have a party right in the middle of mother nature's lap. Don't expect sophisticated rooms or other facilities, but it has enough facilities to make you comfortable (rooms and toilets are very higenic and spaceous, 24 hrs running water, hot water facility etc.). The highlight of our stay was company of Ashwiniji (Tituji, the owner). He never fails to suprise you. Never in our 3 day stay we felt bored. Very much recommended. It is a must visit place for nature lovers. You should contact the owner beforehand visiting. He will guide you with everything.

In the middle of nowhere. A perfect place to just easy the city stress off yourself.... Peaceful, quite and still so much to do... lay in the river. Chill on the beautiful Gazebos. Or trek to the lovely waterfall just round the corner. Super friendly and accommodating host and staff.

We had a lovely stay! Our room was comfy and clean. The food was outstanding, special mention to Beetroot raita which was Yum .This place is around the riverside and kid friendly .Hobo Hut is an amazing place for nature and peace lover. I would highly recommend this place to relax with your family & friends.

We had an amazing stay at Hobo Huts. It is a big property right on the riverside. Very peaceful. Ashwini ensured we had a great stay there. Helped us reach a beautiful hidden waterfall nearby. There are also a couple of natural pools on the river. The property also has a few good spots to hang out by the riverside, and hammocks to relax. The food was spectacular and very homely. Ashwini and the team does a great job with their food. They also have 2 dogs and a cat who were great company and played with a lot. The mornings are great with lots of birds humming. Its truly in the lap of nature and I would definitely recommend Hobo Huts for a getaway.

An amazing stay by the river side in an isolated village near Almora. It's a very beautifully maintained property with good staff . Each corner of the property has attention to detail , with cute sitting corners which give a river view. Food is also really good . They provide whatever we ask for in terms of food, cooked by the owner himself. Totally loved the stay. Would visit again for sure.

Absolutely serene and one of the most beautiful locations, this hostel is located in front of a river with a beautiful couple who will help you out with your requirements and definitely make your stay more comfortable.
