It's a beautiful Shiva/ Kalleshwara Temple located on the way to Haveri from HuvinaHadagali. It's on the main road and cannot afford to miss it if you are passing by. The architecture is mainly Chalukya style. It has a amazing multiple framed door with stunning carving work. The Gopura also has beautiful craftsmanship. The pooja and offerings are very well done. The temple premises has good shade and lawn which is neatly maintained. Has no entrance fee. Parking can be done on the road. It has a huge lake on the other side of the road. Best to visit in the mornings or evenings.

This temple is over 9 centuries old, still it has elegant looks. A small garden is maintained decently around the temple.

The temple was constructed by demarasa, Western chalukya Empire king someshwara ( " lord of three worlds " ) who reigned from 1042-1068 CE. It is a very historical place and one of my favourite places in my life, a clean and well maintained, peaceful place. And proud to say it's in our town .

It's was old temple of Shiva ,,no one take care of the temple ,,but it's best place to spend some time there
