In the peak chaos of old manali this place stands to serve some good food with the smiling and friendly faces!

When you find a friend in a new place who serves warm delicious/mouth-watering food and has excellent music taste and chills with you - you probably already are at Hippie Heads Cafe. Anmol and his (our) uncle were always welcoming with huge beaming smiles and sumptuous food. The ambiance of the place is second to none with excellent artwork on the wall done by fellow tourists. Special shout-out to the memory corner where you literally leave a piece of yourself but take in a lot more than you have left :)

This place is love. In terms of hospitality, vibes, food, and happy faces, all are on point. I would say best Indian food in Manali.

The chef kept trying to convince me I ate chicken when he served me a vegetarian burger. Prices are not inclusive of taxes so paying online sets you back by extra 5%. Other better options available in Old Manali.
Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are pretty decent and has common lobby with great Mountain View and sunshine in the morning. No complaints regarding room and service.
Cons-
Don't book via hostelworld. It shows dorm is available but there are no dorms in this property. Owner hasn't bothered to get this corrected. We paid for 4 beds and the owner told he will give us a room in same price. When we reached he asked 500 per night for extra bed which he didn't mention while confirming on WhatsApp. Plus inspire of the amount shown on hostelworld includes GST , he was asking for 5% extra. I have used hostelworld many times before and I know for a fact that the amount on the app is what you finally pay- No tax extra. Anyway we had a discussion and they did give us some discounts.
