Himvadi Resorts - Hotel in Kausani, Someshwar Range - Bageshwar, India

Location is nice. Room house keeping was very bad. Toilet seat was also in broken condition in my room. They gave dinner and breakfast as per convenient time for us. Food was not tasty at all and very poor quality. In the morning, they served tea with tray. Cups were not properly washed and tray was very dirty. Our ladies didn't drink tea after watching condition of tray and cups. Lots of scope for improvement on service and housekeeping part. I visited through Holidays mentor travel agent.

We were a group of seven, booked two rooms with two double beds each. Rooms were clean, the service was good, the owner/manager was friendly and hospitable. Reached quite late at night but had our dinner served hot. Missed the sunset due to cloudy weather, but on a clear day the view should be pretty nice. Good stay.

Location: It is so well located that you get perfect view of the Mighty Himalayas from almost anywhere in the property. We stayed only for a night but spent most time in the open area outside the cottages. Even had our evening tea and maggi there Spent good time at night gazing the stars. Staff: RC Chaudhary Uncle (owner) is extremely polite, humble and very wise. We learnt a good deal just by interacting with him for a few minutes. Guides very well and it is commendable that he is doing his best to engage the local people in hospitality business. The staff is humble too and always willing to help and serve. Accommodation: Rooms are clean and neat and have all basic amenities. Washrooms have mini geyser. Note that it is a pocket friendly hotel so one must not hope for a luxurious stay. One can certainly hope for a pleasant and peaceful stay though. Food: Hotel serves pure vegetarian food and it is always freshly prepared and delicious Because the local market closes early, it is recommended to let the staff know your order well in advance as they buy fresh vegetables for the guests. Cons: Not hotel centric - electricity issue in general across the mountains Dining area can be improved

It was a nice place to stay, The view from the Resort was awesome. The property owner was very polite in nature and very supportive and the overall hospitality was very good. Nice family stay

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing .the owner of the hotel was so polite and helpful.and the Sunrise view was awesome. I highly recommend this hotel...............

We stayed in first week of May. Room is sufficient for a family of three persons. We stayed on first floor and everything beside, Himalayas mountain view from Room is covering all other downside. It is superb and you can just seat there for hours. Food is ok but staff is very supportive. Walkable distance from kausani junction.

Rooms are old and not maintained. View from resort is nice.

I booked two rooms for one night but after reaching the hotel I extended my stay in kausani just because of location of the hotel. definitely a beautiful hotel to stay. I have already told some improvements to be made by the owner of the hotel. Rest stay was very good and value for money. Staff is also very cooperative.
