Himayat Sagar Lake Picnic Area - Park in Hyderabad - Ranga Reddy, India

Very beautiful place for water lovers and enjoyable persons. Watching is very good experience.

The place is good to catch sunset view at Himayat sagar. I wish people would also respect the place and keep it clean. Sometimes you may come across rowdy bikers on the dam road who drive dangerously, so watch out for your safety. If you are lucky, you may get a peaceful time at this picinic area.

Went to the dam just after 3 days of flooding the water level was so high you can almost see the horizon, Now I understand why it is called a Sagar (Sea). Few roads in the nearby region were totally uprooted due to force of flowing watermark.

Recently visited ,and it was heavily raining.so they have closed the gates not able to view the place properly.any how managed to click some pics from sides

Wonderful journey to the place and the view was gorgeous

Had an awesome experience ..went for bird photography..clear sky..clear lake..lots of birds

Best time to visit before subset.

Best place for Summer relief... Government must remove restriction and develope the best.
