We took a trip to Gangtok, North Sikkim and Darjeeling with Himavat tours. I would highly recommend them due to their excellent customer service. The drivers provided were very safe, experienced and local. Also, they took into consideration our requests of providing rooms on the ground levels as we had elders travelling along. Few things I would like to highlight was, food arrangements weren't up to the mark, the Darjeeling hotel location wasn't feasible enough for the elders and also we weren't informed that north Sikkim is not suggested for elders. Overall, I would recommend the tours but make sure to take all relevant information and do your own research before hand.

If you are planning to go for a long tour then you can consider Himavat Destination. I have booked my Sikkim, Darjeeling package from Himavat and i am very satisfied. Almost all the hotels and all the drivers provided by them were very good. All employees of Himavat were very supportive. They reply your queries calmly. I did detailed survey regarding my tour and I got three to four quotations from different tour agencies but Himavat gave me very economic and best deal. I had planned Sikkim (Gangtok, Lachen, Lachung, Pelling) and Darjeeling tour for 10 nights and 11 days. Initially I was little hesitant about my decision as I am from Gujarat and this tour agency belong to Siliguri but now I can say that my decision was right. Thanks Himanshu, Rajat, Binita, Shraddha, Kasak and Shubhranshu. Thanks once again. I am looking forward for the same kind of the best deal in the future also.

Himavat destination is one of the best touring agency . We had a wonderful experience of the trip organised by Himavat destination. The hotels and the vehicle provided by Himavat are at par expectations. I would like to personally thank Mr Himanshu ji ,Mr Rajat ji and Mrs Madhu ji for taking up the last moment changes done in our trip due to some unavoidable situation. Thanks again to all the Himavat destination team for making our tour a memorable one.

Treat this as a 4.5 Very happy to share our review on Himavat Destination. Pluses - Very responsive and cooperative team. Thank you Himanshu, Binita, Sukmita for all your assistance. - Decent hotels (except 1) given for the Bhutan 6 night 7 day tour package. - Very happy with the Guide Jamyang (very friendly chap, flexible, helpful), vehicle and the driver Tashi given for the package for a family of 4. Could have been better - Hotel in Punakha could have been better though it was spacious. Food was the main drawback in this one. It was very expensive and not worth the money. As there was no option to eat out, we had to bear with the same. For example, Rs 50 charged per small roasted papad and they didn't have any other options as a side for a beer. - Entrance fees for attractions and an approx food expense per person should have been listed beforehand. That would have helped us plan our cash in hand better. We almost ran out of cash. Himanshu helped us out by alternative arrangement, but not something we wanted to experience. This is only a feedback for better, not a negative feedback. There is nothing like a 100% perfect trip. But there's always scope for improvement for both of us .

The tour was arranged so nicely. The accommodation and vehicle provided were excellent quality. Enjoyed the trip. Looking forward to book more trips in future. Thanks very much for excellent trip.
