I really like the room and the service is very good. I do like the food they serve also. They are also keeping everything very neat and clean I had very good experience in this hotel.
This was my first trip to Ladakh and we stayed here for first few days. This place is conveniently located, very close to the airport and market. They have all required amenities, rooms and bathrooms are clean, flat-pin power points, 24hrs running hot water, food is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm visiting from US, however, I didn't feel any difference or inconvenience at all staying here, rather my stay was more comfortable than I would have expected. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Leh. Your stay will be very comfortable and you can focus on enjoying your trip, rather than dealing with hotel related issues.
Had a great stay here at Himalayan retreat hotel. Location its just perfect, it's nearby the market yet away from hustle and bustle of the streets! Service also was too good including the staff here who is very helpful and cordial and even the in hotel dining is good. Locations nearby hotel - leh main market, leh palace, shanti stupa. The best part of this property is you feel warmth in the hospitality. When you land at Leh one of the important things is your health gives a yellow or red signal due to temp and oxygen level difference and if someone at the hotel makes you feel at home thats the best thing and Nurbu-the owner will do it for you.
