The best part about this homestay is that it's a woman owned small business. It's licensed by the Tourism Dept. of India, has regular maintenance inspections and is very safe. If you're: looking for a quiet weekend away from the city with your loved one/ are on your way deeper into the hills and need a place to rest near the airport before continuing on your journey/ need a family friendly place within your budget- this homestay is great. The owner cooks each and every guest's meal herself which is why the food needs to be pre-booked. It tastes no less than restaurant food but is as healthy as homemade food. Himalayan Foothills Homestay truly lives up to their tagline of "your home away from home."

Rooms are very small and service and food is not satisfactory.

I stayed for a night (had a morning flight and this was relatively close to the airport). The rooms were clean. There were mosquitoes but mosquito repellent and sprays were available. The host fed me with homemade dinner, and also helped arrange transport to the airport in the morning. Overall, a great experience and would recommend to other travellers

Without doubt one of the favourite Homestays i stayed during my time in Siliguri.Upon arrival,i was warmly welcomed by the host.She was extremely friendly and humble.Priyadarshini di,who is the owner of this Homestay,is an amazing lady and very down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need.The service,ambience, food,cleanness and hospitality can't be found in a 4/5 star hotel. Note,this is not a 4/5 star hotel or so,but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for Priyadarshini Di,who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience at the Himalayan foothills homestay. The room was clean and also comfortable and most importantly behaviour of the staffs , Priyadarshini di( owner of the homestay) were amazing.

A place you can go to without giving a second thought. Very close to bagdogra airport. The host cooks very delicious food with homely touch to it. Rooms are clean and well maintained. I recommend everyone to experience who is looking for a stay in this locality. Just book online and pay by cash. She doesn't accept online payments. Thank you for the flawless service didi.

Zero Star.. Never ever book this homestay, the lady owner simply denied us from staying there as we booked online. After reaching there she said we don't accept online booking. So we have to find another hotel in late night.

Seldom it happens that the place of stay becomes center point of your vacation. Staying at Himalayan Foothills was such experience for me. It's a homestay and The owner Priyadarshani di actually leaves no stone unturned to make you feel at home. It felt like I am staying at a cordial relative's house. The food is cherry on the cake. It's delicious and reasonably priced. No wonder most of the guests who chose to stay there are 'repeat clients'. Highly recommended.
