Really it is too good resort. So neat and clean and environment friendly. All working members are so friendly and take care of every need of guests.
The resort name is worth it. (However due to cloudy weather we could see a little peak of the Himalayas).
Highly recommended to visit between October - March as weather will be much clearer to see The Himalaya peaks and mountain range)
The room was extremely beautiful spacious ventilated n lighted that no fan light nothing was required. The soft breeze n greenery all over the place with varieties of flowers took my heart. The food was simple but very tasty. Staff were so courteous n were serving food with so much love as if they were serving to their family. Mr Dheeraj and Mr Arora were such good hosts that you won't feel that you have come to the resort, they will make u feel as if you are at home.
Always smiling.. The place is so in between greenery that it gives u immense peace and happiness. Birds chirping sound just 10 steps away will melt your heart.. I would love to go again n again to this place.. Highly recommended to those who r tired of noise n fast life of cities to just get relaxed n rejuvenate.
Stayed there for two days, the staff are extremely good and well mannered. The rooms are neat and tidy so as the bathroom. Hot water is available 24/7. The view from the rooms are good including Himalaya view as the name says.
The restaurant is good with wide variety of foods, my tip is just order your food half'n hour before you leave to restaurant.

I have been to this place in December 2022 with my family. This property to be on the outskirts of Kaushani city. Room is excellent. You can see Himalayas so close & clear. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset from your bed also. The property is well maintained. Staffs are also very polite & good. The food could have have been more tasty.

A lot of reviews mention about the great location of this hotel, but it is quite misleading without mentioning the absolutely non-existent roads leading upto it. The last 1km is in fact dangerous, especially after sunset. There is no road. It is just a trail on a mountain without any protection on one side which makes it quite dangerous to drive a car there. We reached there just after sunset. There are absolutely no lights. Hotel staff had walked up to that point and used their mobile lights for us to spot them and the hotel. It felt like a matter of life and death with kids in our car. Appropriate disclosure should be made for such locations by the hotel management.
Even otherwise, it is quite a basic hotel. If it is about location and Himalaya views, then some hotels are there a little before this hotel, that are at least accessible by a road and not so remote. Sharing this experience so that others can decide wisely.

I have been to this place in May 2022 with my family and found the hotel to be on the outskirts of the city but view from room is splendid especially you can see Himalayas so close and so clear. the property is well maintained.
The food could have have been less oily and more tasty.
Away from crowded location, about 7 kms away from the Gandhi Ashram, Kausani; Himalaya Darshan Resort Kausani is developed at a very serene location. Facing mountains of Nanda Devi, Trishul and Panchchuli, the resort oversee a deep valley view and forest around the property. The approach road, from the main road, of about 6 kms is little rough and broken as of March 2023. The Resort has single guest rooms, a duplex room for small family and twin room cottages for the Guests. A limited cuisine restaurant and ample open sit out areas are available at the resort to dine and relax. A limited version of Orchard having some variety fruits can be enjoyed in the appropriate season. Resort guests can have access for consumption of own grown fruits, wherever the management allows. If looking for peaceful stay without much/very limited activities, this could be an ideal place to stay. The room rents are definitely on higher side even in off peak season, keep in mind the overall stay facilities, service and other aspects. The Manager of the Resort Mr. Puran and the house keeping young boy Shivam Arora deserve a special thanks for their hospitable, friendly and helping nature and attitude. The restaurant serving and service could be far better with almost no/negligible financial burden on the owners. Our stay was comfortable but could have been more value added with little more care and attention from the owners.
