When I planned a visit to the Kinnaur Valley, I knew I must have a hired cab for the tour. Reasons are many for this, which hardly need mention here. To pick out the right agency, I made contact with three or four of them and finally selected the Himachal Taxi, owned by Mr Nitin Bhalaik, a man of precise words, who took not much time to gain my confidence. His rates, installments of payments, exact route plan - and an assurance that his men on steerings never ask for money from the tourists - drew me instantly to him. And the moment I saw his liveried man in the steering of the Etios sedan he gave us for the eleven-day Ambala to Ambala tour, I felt proud of my decision. About my experience of the Kinnaur tour during this time, I'd better keep silent - for unless one experiences the entire happy and smooth journey, one would hardly believe that. Though during the trip I never had any need to contact Nitinji for any difficulty whatsoever, I always felt Nitinji's silent monitoring during the entire trip. But of course, there's a negative point, however subtle, with Himachal Taxi. For Nitinji seems to keep only decent and highly professional men running his cars. And when I parted company with Mr Surjeet Thakur at the end of my trip, I felt a real pang.

Our 11 day trip with Himachal Taxi took us on the following route: Chandigarh-Shimla-Kasol-Manali-Rohtang Pass-Dalhousie-Chandigarh during late September/early October 2016. It was one of the best experiences we had in our life. The driver and the type of car and condition matters most for this route. We had it perfect. We hired a dzire cab from Chandigarh for our manali trip. It was a 5 day trip. On the 2nd day itself, the driver told us that he needs rest and he will be going to his room and won't be available after 3pm. As per our discussion with the owner of Himachal Taxi Mr. Nitin, the driver would be available for us till 8 pm everyday. Therefore, we were surprised to hear this from our cab driver. We had a small argument with him and he agreed to stay. Then again on 3rd day, we came back to our hotel from atal tunnel and sissu by 3 pm. We told him to have rest and pick us again by 7 or 8 pm as we had to go out for the dinner. But he denied and argued on the same. We called Nitin and asked why despite our booking, the driver is insisting to go again and again. He should be available till 8 pm as per the company's commitment. I must mention Mr. Nitin is very polite and a generous person. He sorted this issue very calmly. But after that incident, the driver was very rude and arrogant with us and that completely ruined our mood. We kept calm during the whole trip until he dropped us in the Chandigarh. When you are on a trip and have hired a cab to enjoy it to the fullest, it's really important that your cab driver must be well-behaved and friendly in nature. And this was also our first condition to the company. Unfortunately, we had the most pathetic experience with our cab driver (Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Car No. 1245). He is very egoistic person. You better be prepared if they assign you him! Rest, we don't have any complaints against the company's owner. Hope our review will help! All the best for your trip with Himachal Taxi.

I have been travelling with Himachal Taxi for almost last 3-4 years, it's just best. Highly professional drivers, polite and always helps you with your trip planning and execution. Special mention to Bhupinder Paaji, who took us to various unexplored and less crowded places in Himachal.

I had booked Innova cab from Himachal Taxi for the Kaza Tour from Himachal Taxi in September 2021. It was a well planned tour by Mr. Nitin. Car was absolutely neat and clean and well maintained. Driver Mr. Bittu was well behaved and punctual. He became a family member with us in the 10 days tour. We really enjoyed the services of Himachal Taxi and thanks again to Mr. Nitin for delivering organising such a great tour and providing us a great driver for the trip. Highly recommended.
