Himachal Emporium - Craft store in Shimla - Shimla, India

Today was the store's inauguration and I happened to walk in. Loved the collection some very cool Himachali craft items. They are still setting up things and I believe the collection will only grow from here. I managed to get a beautiful wall plate and some prints. The staff is very polite and friendly. Hope to visit again.

Good hand made and Himachal traditional cloths. Large enough collection. All payment options available. Big enough space hence not very crowded. Not good for elderly as there r 3 levels connected with staire and anyways all shimla is staires and inclines... Buy typical sarkari environment. Sluggish staff. Poor merchandise handling. Poor customer handling. Unrealistic pricing.

Entrance itself gives amazing vibes, perfect place to find traditional gifts and antique silver jewellery including different kind of stones pearls etc

If you're in the mood to shop for locally made handicrafts at pocket friendly prices, Himachal Emporium is just the place for you. Located at the Mall Road in Shimla, the emporium offers handicraft products of Himachal Pradesh like locally designed woollens, pottery items and jewellery. There is an enormous range of Kangra silks, Kinnauri shawls and other Himachal souvenirs available here. Run by the Himachal Pradesh Government, the emporium sells genuine handicrafts for the discerning buyers.

This shop is existing for many years. While visiting it we came to know that it is governmental shop so prices are fixed and collection of souvenirs is pretty unique. We were walking on the mall street and passed through many handicrafted stalls to compare with. Here you may find shawls, woollen clothes, local tribal souvenirs, jewellery with precious stones, wooden handcrafted art works and etc. No bargain coz prices are fixed, invoices and appropriate checks are given as well. Nice place to buy something unique or just to gaze at local art work.

Great place to buy authentic Himachali clothes and artefacts. People are quite cooperative and helpful. I had gone there recently and I reached at the time of closing of the store. I could see that the people at the store were tired and ready to call it a day. But they were courteous enough to entertain our queries and also helped us buy good stuff.

A truly wonderful place for traditional Himachali attires, woolens, instruments and accessories i.e. HIMCRAFT. A place full of Himachali culture. One can get really great stuff for self and family. Great gifting options. Amazing show room for tourists. Really nice quality stuff at Govt approved competitive prices.
