Hilltop lodge - Home Stay in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Awesome place to stay. Am Shiva are from Hyderabad and we stayed here for 5 days. We never had a second thought. Of course the location is a bit far from Kamakhya Temple But we had each and every option of Auto (Chandan Das) Cab (Dhrub) for all of our travel needs and these people helped us very well in dealing with locals and places. On a special note: Best part of our stay is the Food being South Indians we had a little tension about the food But You can blindly rely on Mr. Ramesh who cooks the food very well. He also took care of us in every part of our stay. Loved his hospitality. Last but not least the owner of the property: Mr. Rana Choudhury, A true Gentle Man. Starting from booking the hotel to leaving he supported us. Finally: If you are visiting Guwahati for any reason, Especially Kamakhya temple...Go ahead and book this property by calling directly to the owner Rana Choudhury.

Hilltop is a place amidst the nature where you get peace of mind to rejuvenate yourself. I have been staying here since a year and have never crossed by an unsatisfied day. The staff is friendly,the owners are gentle n respected people,food is homely. Everything here is natural. So,people who comes searching for amenities will not be satisfied bt nature lovers will have a great time.

One of the worst experiences ever. Booked 6 rooms and owner gave the option to shift 4 rooms apartment which were a bit bigger and separate especially for family. Room service was was worst with ac and fans not working. Even the water in the bathroom was clogged. When complained, owner came shouting and misbehaved saying this is the service we provide. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour. Infact asking for full advance payment before you check in. Beaware of this private property and its not at all safe. Worst stay ever with worst hospitality.

The staff behaviour is good. The room price is 1800 per day.

Its really a decent homestay... Very scenic hill top view. Very calming and beautiful birds singing your good morning... Really a stop to step back to relax into the lap of nature

Excellent place to relax by the mighty river Brahmaputra. The hotel is on kharguli hills , it is connected well by share autos , but little bit of up hill walk from the auto stand . One can witness beautiful brahmaputra river line and sunsets from this hotel. The property is huge and there are multiple places to relax in the garden or an open large common balcony. Rooms are sanitized and cleaned regularly . The in-house person Ramesh is a wonderful host, he makes excellent food for lunch and dinner . Must try is the pork Dry fry , chicken gravy. He was also nice to serve me coffee multiple times without any extra charges . I would recommend couples , families to definately visit and enjoy the solitude at this villa . Since this hotel is surrounded by local families so hosting parties won't be very comfortable for late hours , but Ramesh was kind enough to arrange that too for our group (10 men's ) .
