A decent stay not far from Jog falls but a little interior makes it the best choice. Affordable and clean rooms in the midst of lush green western ghats. The food is tasty and quite satvik homely style. The owner Mr. Sivaji of this property is so friendly and cooperative.
It's a beautiful location with full greenery around us...we saw two peacocks in the home stay location ....the owner shivaji and his team are very homely and service minded...food was very home type and fresh .unlimited...we will definitely visit next time and refer others too...thanks once again Mr. Shivaji
It's a beautiful homestay. The owner is very cooperative. But the best part is the food which is absolutely fantastic and surpasses everything else. I've never had such amazing authentic South Indian food anywhere else.
Hd a stay for one day at Hillview homestay in talguppa. V nice experience with the home stay owner. The layout of the site is very beautiful and comfortable, hygiene with homely and tasty food. I sincerely recommend this place for stay with family and friends. This is also affordable one. Thank you Mr. Sivaji. Hope we visit again.
Who gave this rating for this pathetic home stay? These booking sites are full of bull. It's a 4 room place and nothing like the way it's shown in the google pics. No pool, bedroom with lizards .and no staff to help. Advance which was given was not returned by the owner. Really pathetic. Please be warned.
Very good home stay, the kindness of the family who run It is marverllous. The help you with anything you need ( tuc tuc to see around, taxi to Next place) and the food they serve is homade and tasty. We have enjoyed a lot our stay here
Good place to stay with family. Kids enjoy at the pool. Awesome veg food with authentic dishes. Friendly caretakers and owners. Rooms were clean and neat. Could have maintained the pool much better and cleaner. Cannot play loud music even in the evening around 8 and owner often reaches you back with an alert if the noise levels go bit high. May be the owner wants to go back to bed by 12 and he keeps interfering when family sits in a group having light talks and laughter. Congested parking space can only park 2 small cars comfortably. Charged 120 Rs per veg meal. Non-veg is available however, found it not worth the cost and taste. Food from the previous day would also gets offered during the breakfast if remains. Good choice if you are looking to stay silently without any disturbance.

It is beautiful place.. but crowded in the evening and the route to this is very difficult, better keep your stomach lite or have something to control your vomiting sensation.
