Hill View Park, one of the Idukki tourist places, located at a distance of 2 km from Idukki Bus stand, is a magnificent and well-managed park. The park, stretching over 8 acres enthralls the visitors with hundreds of varieties of crotons, flowers, medicinal plants, and other woods. The Hill View Park houses a natural water body, where visitors can enjoy boat rides. The view from the watchtower of both the dams, Idukki and Cheruthoni, the surrounding hills on all four sides and the lush greenery takes the breath away. The Park remains open throughout the year and can be accessed through gentle slopes, though it is stationed at 350 ft above the level of Dam water. The herbal garden and children's play area add appeal to the Hill View Park.
Beautiful park that gives you pristine view of the Idukki dam. Very well maintained by the Kerala government. It has adventure games for teens and young adults as well. Restrooms are clean too!
Hill view park is a great place to visit for nature lovers and thrill seekers. The park offers a variety of safety adventure rides, such as zip-lining, rock climbing, and bungee jumping. The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The park is well-maintained and has friendly staff. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience.
I highly recommend Hill View Park for a fantastic and memorable adventure in a beautiful natural setting. Whether you're an adventure enthusiast or just want to enjoy the stunning Idukki dam, this park offers something for everyone. The park is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, showing Kerala government's pride in it. Clean restrooms also contribute to the great experience. Don't miss this amazing destination when you're in the area!
Neatly maintained place with good views and adventure activities too Best view of the Idukki dam and surroundings. From cheruthoni it's hardly 15 Min to reach this park. Base of the hill there is a government guest house where we can park vehicles. Around 15 minutes by walking to reach the park. Entries permitted by pass. The garden and the park are reasonably well maintained with a canteen and public toilets. Best place to relax with family. Recently, they have introduced adventure activities like zip lining in the park. I have no idea about how safe it is though. Beautiful natural garden with children play area.
Great place to get wonderful view of the Idukki Dam. There are some adventure rides and boating. All were closed by the time we reached around 5:30pm. The children play area was small and of less use for kids. Expected many things for kids but not much available.
It's still under construction. But the view from the park us amazing. They have a children park if you are coming with kids. Different adventure rides also there.
Beautiful place.. Nature is with full of its grace.. Mountains, rocks, lakes, rivers, trees, flowers everything is in adorable view.
It's one of rare view point from which you can see both idukki arch dam and cheruthoni dam. It's on the way to cheruthoni dam. The parking is near Government Guest House. Well maintained GH but will be available only to fiicials in tour because less

It's one of the best dams in kerala...it is a great place to visit with your family and friends... there are some limitations for taking photos and videos... idukki arch dam is just near to the cheruthoni dam... highly recommended to all....
I recently had the opportunity to visit Idukki Dam, and I was very impressed with its size and scale. The dam is truly a marvel of engineering, and it is a testament to the ingenuity and skill of the people who built it. The view from the top of the
The road to the point is a little tricky. As Idukki dam was closed for the public, there was nobody for boating. The place was deserted. The ticket counter is located in the entrance. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes. Then another family came
