Hill Top Beach Resort And Restaurant - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

(English below) Joe Hill Top ou j'etais en 2012. Plus du tout la meme equipe ni meme ambiance (il faut dire que c'est la saison basse). Les chambres a 1000 roupies apres negociation sont comme pas mal de chambres Budget, a savoir sales, il faut demander le menage (qu'ils font en ma presence uniquement donc ca fait perdre du temps) il faut etre derriere et insister pour chaque demande. Le restaurant attenant Tibet Kitchen ne m a pas inspire avec un petit dejeuner tres moyen, prepare sans amour. L'avantage est l'emplacement et la vue du balcon commun. In English : Joe Hill Top where Ive been in 2012 had not the same team neither same good mood (it was also off season). Rooms at 1000 INR like most of budget room are quite dirty. I had to request the cleaning which is done only when I was.there, so lost time. I had to ask and ask again to be sure I got what i requested (towel, toilet paper...) I only took a breakfast at the restautant. It was really average, not prepared with love. The good point is the localisation at cliff road.with a view from the common balcony.

The worst place to stay in whole varkala. The rooms are worst, the AC is controlled by the owner downstairs so he will turn it off whenever he wants. The only thing good about it was the ocean view, but that is common in all the resorts there. If you are planning to visit, don't stay in this pathetic place.

Good okayish property. Only one room with sea view that too not clear. Not value for money. Otherwise things are okay.

Even one star is not worth for this resort... If you choose to stay in Varkala better search for some good resort near cliff. We as a family stayed there for a night... Actually we had a plan to extend some days in cliff view but due below issues that we have faced, left before the check out time. it was a disgusting experience ever.... 1. Providing a drinking water is a basic need. When I asked for it they said it was chargeable 2. We bought some kind of brunch from outside by evening. Requested to provide some dinner plates.. They asked money (rent) for it... 3. Hill top Tibetan hotel was there... Worst food, you can have a better foods in nearby roadside motels... 4. No proper water service 5. Person who managing resort who never hear your issues if once you have paid the full amount... Also they ask you to pay full amount before check in.. 6. No Compliments like breakfast, welcome drink for such huge rent 7. Behaviour wise worst.. before paying money / advance that person who manages the resort speaks so friendly. Once after the money fully paid they are so careless. 8. You can always see the reception empty... No one sit there even in busy hours... 9. Even if 4 people stay in one room, they will provide only one bath towel. That also so dirty 10. Last and final staffs in this resort will not respond your query.... so much of attitude you can see in their behaviour. So folks please do not prefer Hill Top view resort. It's not worth and they will spoil your vacation mind set....

Spacious rooms . Good view from room . Balcony for every room. They gave us first floor with beach view and garden view . Clean rooms. It's on the cliff so all restaurants are available . Great place .

Neat & hygienic atmosphere. Rooms & washrooms are well maintained. Parking is available for 4 wheelers & 2 wheelers. Staff of the resort is very much cooperative. You will get a nice sea view from the restaurant. This resort is located at Varkala Cliff which makes your stay/vacation a wonderful memory with the scenic beauty & ambience of the resort.

Clean n nice rooms. Restaurant good food. Ayurvedic massage very good and Hijjama cupping therepy centre best detox i felt in my body.

Had an awesome night at Hill top resort. Its located right at the centre of everything and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I ll attach a pic. Staff are very courteous and patient. Food is fantastic too. Over all, had a great night at Varkala without hurting your purse too much.
