HIGHLY RECOMMEND It was really a very nice experience. The staff (Especially Mr Joshi) was marvelous and cooperating. The rooms are clean. The resort is recently renovated and looks nice. it has swimming pool and kids play area. Less than 30 seconds from main road and 5 mins from Kumar resort.

The location is not very convenient. The interior and exterior both were old and in need of repair. The rooms were stinking. The staff was not that friendly. The prices were unreasonably high,the breakfast was of bad quality and poor taste. The windows had no view, and the only view you would get when you opened the window was of garbage. No cleanliness in the rooms, cobwebs on the ceiling and bed sheet was dirty. I would not recommend this place nor would I visit here again.

Hotel is no were near 3 star it is average hotel. I booked it on weekend with adjoining public holiday so rate were 3x high compare to normal days. Rooms are very unclean and old. Swimming pool was not well maintained. Food was good( only tea and snacks). Staff are polite but you have to continously follow up with them for your work. Overall not worthy for money.

The overall experience was average. The property is big and so is the location. Walkable from station and main market. Security cameras are installed for safety. The food was delicious on ala-carte , breakfast was a bit disappointing and very limited. The receptionist and the staff were very helpful and kind. We were given an option to upgrade our room without extra charges. The rooms were poorly maintained . They were not at all spacious. The storage space was unclean and very limited. Basic toiletries were not available. Bathroom was fine but small. The property was nice with wings ,pool and games corner.

The staff and manager Mr. Joshi is very welcoming, and it was a smooth early check-in for us. Food was yummy, too. We also booked a cab for 3 days with them. The car was clean and nice, and the driver Mehboob was super awesome! Overall, great stay!

We stayed there for two nights. Rooms are nice but not well organised and maintained. We have got ac, tv, fan, geyser all working. The staff is very friendly and well behaved. Food items are common and taste is good. They have a clean swimming pool which is taken care daily. In all a good experience.

So i want to share my experience at this resort called Hill Forest Resort which is in Lonavala. I have planned a trip with my wife in Lonavala and wanted to have a stay there so went looking for good resorts nearby lonavala. So i came across this resort Hill forest. On the website this resort owner has uploaded photos of the rooms and amenities they were offering. They looked decent and I gave them a call for an inquiry. Someone from the reception picked up my call and gave me all the details about rooms and the charges of it that was 4k per room. By looking in photos I agreed to book 2 rooms and gave him advance around 3k. I visited the resort on my booking date and he took me for a room tour and then i realised that i made a big mistake by booking here. Let me describe why I regretted. 1. We booked 2 rooms and over there, they have made 2 rooms out of 1 by simply adding wall in between and they were really very small. 2. AC was not there in one of our rooms for which they promised to provide. 3. The locks were broken and privacy breached multiple times. 4. Lights were not functional. 5. AC in our 1 room was leaking and made entire room wet. 6. Service was very bad, had to call 5-10 times to simply get a towel. I can go on and on. Since we made bad decision still we don't wanted to spoil our trip and we adjusted with what we had. Now, checkout time arrived and we had our breakfast that was complimentary (only good thing about the resort) and went near reception. As the rooms were pathetic we requested the receptionist to give us some discount as the rooms were not all worth 4k. He was very rude and goon type threaten us to beat us and keep us locked in the room if we don't pay entire amount. He even gave us Bad words and spoke very badly with my wife. Please consider and don't visit this place as it was my worst experience.

(1) hot water gyser not work properly very small machine ..room are not maintain and clean . electronic items is not working properly (tv , light) & washroom is not clean . Room service is not good & overrated . Resort experience is very bad money west .0 star hotel (2)The property looks good from outside and is absolutely shabby in reality. Rooms are un-clean. (3) Staff behaviour is not good Lazy staff ..delay all work rooms were smelly. Too stressful for late breakfast and very less window tike for checkout.
