Hijli - Train station in Kharagpur - Medinipur West, India

This station has only 2 platforms but this station has really good connectivity. Some important trains pass through this station which now reduces a huge load on Kharagpur station. This station needs to extend faster which surely helps to give better service to this division in coming future.

No decent bathrooms, the station was very dirty and people are throwing stuff on the pavement even though there were dustbins. There are waiting rooms available. There is only one shop which is from IRCTC, so they don't charge more than what is necessary. No proper drinking facility.

Small Railway station but has good connectivity. Due to some construction works at Kharagpur Railway station all the Major trains were diverted to hijli.

Cleanly maintained...taxi service available outside station basic amnesties available... canteen facilities too available in station...you can get food ...rates are nominal ...station is fully surrounded by natural greenery.. reservation counter available timing is from 0800 to 1400 hrs sunday closed

You will find food, toilet, safety and waiting room here. This station is quite clean. But sometimes trains are running quite late.

1. Small railway station with 2 platforms. 2. It has AC waiting room, 2nd class waiting room, Ladies waiting room. 3. Waiting room washroom in not clean, they are really dirty. 4. Station platforms are neat and clean. 5. Very close to IIT Kharagpur, distance between them is of approx. 2.5 km. 6. Transport system is not that great. 7. Interesting thing is, it is having water vending machine at platform no. 1.

Small type of station, but different locations of train available and good service and behavior of staffs.
