Hide Out Cafe - Cafe in Shimla - Shimla, India

I visited Hide Out Cafe at Mall Shimla, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The cafe's ambiance and location were promising, situated in the heart of Shimla's popular Mall area. However, when it came to the food, I was quite disappointed. They have wide food menu options but the food quality was far from impressive. I ordered pasta hoping for a satisfying meal, but it lacked any distinctive flavors. But I liked the coffee though. Moreover, the service was also quite slow. Additionally, the prices at this cafe were quite high compared to the quality of food and service provided. I expected better value for the money I spent, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. Moreover this place attracts the attention of many tourists but I didn't like it much .

So this cafe is situated on the mall road, right next to the Gaiety theater. The view is really good as you can see the hustle and bustle of the crowd down under. They have a bakery in the lower floor where u can get cake and other sweet desserts. They have seating area on the 1st floor. The sitting seemed a bit cramped but wasn't that bad. We ordered a Pizza, Fries, Pasta and some coke. The food arrived shortly and it was delicious. Although the serving size for pasta could've have been bigger. Considering it was almost 400 bucks. Overall a meal for 4 people cost us 1100 bucks. Which isn't bad. The cafe is Good and I usually dine here when I'm on the mall.

The place has a nice ambience and is situated in a popular spot on mall road up a stair. They could place a signboard along those stairs to be better identified by newbies in the area. More expensive than your regular cafe, I tried the corn and spinach sandwich, the strawberry tea and special vegetable roll of which the roll was simply disappointing. It felt greasy and lacked taste which made it feel like very substandard. The strawberry tea was decent and refreshing whilst the sandwiches were well made. The quantity of each item was generous and the service prompt.

They serve decent food here and the quantity is nice. Staffs are quick, always smiling and ready to help. The location is a plus point of this place.

Loved this place, the ambience, the staff, the food everything was good. The staffs were polite and asked if we liked our food. The tomato soup was very good. They could improve taste for other cuisines but it's still above average and seems like a better option among other such restaurants.

Visited this restaurant for morning breakfast. We tasted cold coffee, sandwiches and parathas.The portion served were decent. Some of the dishes are a bit expensive. Overall the food and service was good.

Shimla has many cafes, but this one, right next to Gaiety and Town Hall, is brilliant. The food is exquisite and the place is small but magical. It has great sandwiches, and the apple pie is one of the best I have had (and I have had it in many places in Europe). Service was great. The young lady who served us was polite and extremely helpful.

The blueberry cheesecake was a disaster. It was the frozen-type, and it felt like blueberry jam over stale yoghurt.
