Incredible Golf course situated close to Mawlia Mawroh. You can witness alot of youngsters running, playing soccer and overall evenings are delightful here. This happens to be here since the late 1800's. So good to see that it's still maintained so well

A very good place to relax. I would recommend travelers going here on the last day of the trip as most of the days would be tiring will all the trekking. There are small stalls and fine hotels around which can add up to the charm of this place. The sunset looks beautiful as the area spreads around in acres with green coverage. There's unavailability of trash bins which leads to littering, the only unattractive thing this place but it goes unnoticeable in the bigger picture since the area is huge.

Nice sceneries, one of the famous landmarks of Shillong. Well maintained, clean and serenading environment. Cabs and taxis are available to take you to the destination however, you might face some traffic. A good picnic spot and a lovers paradise.

Shillong enjoys the rare privilege of having the largest and the only natural golf course in the whole of Asia. This golf course is also known as the 'Gleneagles of the East'. Golf was introduced in Shillong in 1898 by a group of British civil service officers after the constructed a 9-hole course. Presently it has an 18-hole (70 par) course, which was inaugurated in 1924. The course is located in a scenic valley surrounded by pine and rhododendron trees, which is also home to many varieties of birds.
