Visited the Hesaraghatta lake. The route from Neelamangala is slightly complicated. However if you follow the map, you will reach the lake in no time. Visited the lake in the last week of Dec 2022 - was filled and looked beautiful. The entry to the lake is a small door and there is a temple at the end of the walk. Beyond the lake, there are small picnic spots. Advised to have a non alcoholic picnic.
Frankly there are not enough things to visit, no hotel nearby. People's are prohibited to get down in water. But you can do fishing there ... A big tree is there for taking rest.
It's a beautiful lake. Pretty huge... But I don't think you can walk around the whole lake. You'll be able to walk a strech around the lake and it's pretty beautiful... I visited during August and there was fair bit of water. Suggested to visit during Aug to Feb.
Nature at its best A day can be spent around this huge lake.
Nice place for taking a walk... With lake at one side and greenary at the other side, this is a beauty.
Hesaraghatta lake trip is really an awesome nature exlporable trip if u go with a large group. This place is not that much suitable for couples. There are some local goons wandering there around who always used to tease girls and couples in an assault way. So be bold to ignore them or defend them.apart from this this is very nice place to explore nature.
Beautiful palce to visit no waiting nd no tickets at all it's free to visit
Nothing more!!! just a lake and no proper amenities like toilet or shops..we have some two or three petty shops here ...You get little parking for two wheelers and cars shld park on the road itself....and we get few chairs to sit but lacks shade from trees and if you gone on hot afternoon you can't even sit on the chair!! You get nice view of the lake that's the highlight point here....we have small temple here where devotees pray and sit around and relax... And a small note local chapri boys roams around here unnecessarily!!! Which i found irriating
