Heritage Methanam - Resort hotel in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

A great place to relax with family. With pool and good food, this should be ideal for your weekend. They have seven rooms only, so if you can book the entire thing, it will be absolute fun with total privacy. There might be a couple of visitors to the restaurant, though.

We stayed for 5 days. The room was great. Provided with all facilities. Free wifi. It was very affordable and also negotiable. The food was tasty. They served authentic kerala food specially the egg curry and appam is a must try . The environment was very calm, relaxing and perfect for a getaway from city. Staffs was so polite and welcoming. They are also helpful. There is a guard service for 24hrs. Easy access for Uber. No disturbance from the bar nearby. Overall, it was a great experience in Methanam.

We had a pleasant experience nice and calm view, food was average, pool was clean and view near pool was also beautiful. Rooms are pretty small but has all the amenities. Overall neat experience its like 4/5

Cool ambience. Banks of the river. A hotel with traditional outfit. A calm and quiet place. Perfect place for getaway. Lawn has a superb view of river and Chinese nets. Sunset from this lawn is a feat for the eyes. Food and beverages are average. Price is not that economic. If you are looking for a place which far from madding crowd, please be their guest.

Bad customer service. We called them for several time for conducting our onam function. They didn't give appropriate information regarding the package and availability. Pathetic experience

We had a horrible experience! The room we were given had no phone, no tissues, not even a water bottle ! And don't ask about the mosquitoes! TV was not working. Above everything, didn't feel safe there. The door had a huge gap, which we had to cover using towels. The door and the toilet window are having see through glasses on top, which makes it really uncomfortable in matters of privacy. The staffs themselves had no adequate knowledge about the property. No night service. The front desk and everything were completely shut after 11pm with zero staffs at night! The rooms had worn out table lamps, which literally detached from the surface. The walls had blood stains. The food served for breakfast was awful. In total, we had a horrible experience!!! Stayed just for few hours 11pm to 9am, only the night time. Our kid was exhausted by the mosquitoes. We were waiting for the sunrise to check out. Would never suggest it to anyone. We paid 5600 for 1 night stay for 1 room of 2 pax with a child. Not at all worth !!!!

Place is very calm and quiet. The rooms are very small but has all the amenities. Staff over there are very helpful and pleasant except for the one guy sitting in the reception. They have got a nice garden like setup with backwater view and in the evening with all the lights on it gives a nice ambience.
